i don't see what's wrong about stat padding, as long as you're not just farming damage while not trying to win/help your team (looking @ you chai and your 11tybillion sub clans), for others it's just a gauge of how well you're improving.
i play a shit ton of all tanks so nobody can say i stat pad but i do keep an eye on my improvement.

if you really want to stat pad, use the new lights, T37 and M41 bulldog in particular.
if you can get to ~1k dmg you'll hit >3k wn8

my highest wn8 game ever was in the wz-132, i hit something like 18k wn8 with 4500dmg and a few kills

they're fun ass tanks, super nimble/quick, fast reload. i'm just about done with the m41 bulldog now, but still debating if i even want the t49 with derp still hahaha.

This War of Mine is a lot of fun. And they recently patched the game to add in a new starting location and some other nice additions. I hope they continue to work on the game as I think there could be some cool improvements.

I'll eventually get the M41. I'm kind of eyeing the STB-1 as my next tank now that I have the Leo-1. I already have the T57 Heavy. If I didn't, I'd probably do M41 for sure since it would be on the way to that.

Played some games in my KV5 and SU122-44 with mission-earned prem acct, and here's my exp with these two tanks in regard to their silver-making. For KV5 I carried 6 shells of prem ammo, for the SU I carry 3. With KV5 I average about 70k per battle, with lows in the 40k and highs in the 100k. Upkeep cost is about 34k if I used all 6 shells, around 14k if I don't use them. For SU I average around 50k, with highs around 70k and lows around 30k. Upkeep cost is around 20k with prem ammo, around 10k without. I'd love to try a Lowe or T34, but can't justify the cost.

I hardly play my T110E5 now since it's not as good as it first came out, and seems it's outclassed by newer tanks. Just played a game in it for the American line mission and had an awesome game in it. 6800 damage, 8 kills, Steel Wall (14/3/11). It was a close game, my heart was still pounding really fast after it ends. It's this kind of battles that keeps me coming back to this game.

stb-1 hands down my favorite tank, so fun, that gun depression hah!
you do have to wait an extra second before firing compared to every other medium which is hairy sometimes

rammer/vertstab/vents, large repair/large med/food
brings my reload to ~6.3 sec

I just have to save up enough FreeXP to start at Tier VII, because I heard the grind is terrible. Usually I free xp to Tier V (sometimes VI), but for the Japanese I think it'll be Tier VII.

Funny you mention it, I've been grinding the tier 5 today to get the Chi-To. Before that not fun tanks.
 
Finally got elite status for my Russian medium T-54. Another words, got the 598,940 XP to unlock everything in the tree; some items from T-44 carried over. I just need the 1/2 million credits for the Obj. 140.

It took me 375 games. I was going to say an average of 1,597 XP but the last 60-70k was taking advantage of the double XP bonus thing they had going on over the last few days. Then the double for first win too are in it. :/

Not a bad grind really, very enjoyable tank.
Guess the next serious grind if my Obj. 704. Been slowly working on that, certinally is taking me the longest... 301,000 XP for Obj. 268 I believe I need 80k or so.

I also got to say, I'm really enjoying the M103, beat a super unicum in his WZ-111-4 yesterday just due to the slightly faster reload of the gun on M103.

Would I expect something similar out of the T110E5? Bouncy turret?

The E5 upper plate and turret front are almost impossible to pen. Lower plate is pretty soft and the tumor is a weak spot. Just keep moving/jiggle the turret in the E5 and it will be very hard to pen when peeking over hills/cover. The E5 has amazing gun handling (+ good depression) and can snap shot at short/medium distances. It was my first T10 and now that I'm a much better player I enjoy playing the E5 a lot.

The 268 is not really much of an upgrade over the 704 anymore. It used to be awesome.

On another subject, I was checking some of the tanks I did well in on vbaddict, and realized I have top DPG/WN8/WR in several tanks on the server. 🙂

I had some asshat box me in so I couldn't back up and turn, then I got tracked. Told him to stop crawling up my ass. After the game, he messaged me (didn't know you could do that), and told me to stop playing because my stats were so bad. Hell, I didn't even know the game tracked stats. I play for fun and if you don't like it, then tough shit. Some times I like to rush into combat and scout around, sometimes I sit back and wait, and other times, I just follow the herd. I think he called me a 12 yr old as well and said he wanted to have sex with my mom or something.. /shrug. Kids nowadays. Hopefully he's gone back to school or is taking anger management classes. I truly felt sorry for him that he even cared enough to message me after a game.

like venom said, the 268 isn't great, it's more of a sidegrade to the 704

Actually the Chi-To (T6) is pretty good other than having no armor. No idea about T1-T5, I skipped those, and heard mixed things about the T7 so plan on skipping it completely. You're also going to have a much easier time grinding the crew to at least six sense at tier 6 than 8.
 
could not stand the chi-ri or the chi-to
the autoloader is a gimmick and useless hahaha
at least i couldn't get get it to work
it's a medium with no firepower and the size of a maus imo.

it was nerfed to shit, but still do ok. before, it was WAY too OP. i could fire non stop without being detected, doing around 850 dmg each shot. Games with 6000+ of dmg was easy. Coupled with a trollish front armor, super speed, and good turning time, it was just epic.

Since I skipped none and almost have the tier 6, I'll say, 1-5 are pretty bad.

Yeah to do that amount of damage you kinda have to get lucky in several respects. I started getting excited at about the 5k damage mark, thinking I could get my mastery. Wasn't expecting 9.5k by the end though.
 
imo they were to big, not enough alpha and slow as shit
basically a heavy but called a "medium"
yet they had paper armor and couldn't take any hits
you really can't carry in the japanese line until tier 8
 
I just unlocked the T21, should I purchase it or grab the Chaffee instead and go up that line? Also, I gotta say ARTY exp grind is ridiculous. Even if you hit 5 tanks and kill a few it seems like the exp gain is minimal. Took me forever to grind 13k to unlock the M41.
