The e-50m is on sale now? I can't keep track, thought it was the t57 line.

no the 15 anniversary thing has all tier Xs on sale for 15% off. The T57 is also on sale but I won't be able to grind it out in time. (T69 is just way too expensive to play all day long).

I could get an E-50M and be left with 1 mil credit, or I could wait for a sale and get an indien pz and a caern... decisions decisions.

5 skills.... I don't even have a 4 skilled crew yet. (hovering at around 88%~ on my E-75 3 skilled crew)

Heck, my T-54 has only a 1.9 skilled crew. 😛 Might play it a bunch this weekend to see if I can skill it up to 2 skills.

Quite a few of my crews have 3 skills, and I think I'm up to 5 crews that have 4 skills (T34, IS-3/6 268, vk3601, and E-100 minus that damn 2nd loader). Most of my 4 skilled crews are probably in the 60-70% range on thier 4th skill, while I do believe my best crew (T-34) is sitting close to 90%. I would have to be home to count the number of crews I have sitting on thier 3rd skill, but its at least another 5+ crews.

Its that last 5-10% that take a damn eternity. The only reason I have such good crew skills is due to all those x2/3 crew xp weakends, its the only time you can see any appreciable improvement in skill %. They also had like 2 weeks of crew xp bonuses last christmas/new years and I happened to be off and enjoying a staycation, of which I played the shit out of WoT.


All tier 10s are on discount this weekend, now I just have to make the decision to buy the 50m or just stick with the E50. I have the garage slots for both, which isn't the concern, the two main concerns are: 1. which one gets the good crew, and 2. Is the E50m any fun to play, or funner to play than the E50.

technically my T-50-2 crew would serve better in a T-54 than my current T-54 crew (has a lot of camo and BIA stuff already done).

I've heard the E-50M is a better tank all around, and it doesn't have a frontal engine either. Better depression as well and the gun is also better (though it shoots APCR and has a lower normalization than AP shells).

But it gets tier 10 MM. So... take that how you will.

I never train or spend gold unless its on a sale. I don't have the "omg must have tanx nao" syndrome and can wait a while.

I could buy the E-50M but I don't want to blow all my money on it, but I could save a million credits if I buy it now...

on the other hand I'd like to have a T-62 more, and I don't play tier 10s all that much...

eh it's there to spend, for me it was worth it since my t-50-2 crew was at 80% due to light to med tank change.

usually i only use gold for premium time, or to convert free xp to max out a tier 8/9 tank so that i can grind fully upgraded. it's worth the time for me. i figure i've probably spent 300-400 dollars total on this game so far in 2 years, i still have fun. have 8 tier X's now and working on my 9th.

i think i have enough free xp to get to the t57 but not worth it converting gold just to save 1 mil credits hah.

i say get the e-50m. that thing is fun as shit, it's what the pre nerf e50 was except this can pen everything. i mainly pubstomp in it and it excels in that role

did not keep my e50. no point at all unless you just want tier 9 match making. the e50m is better in every single way. i loaded up on 8 garage slots last sale so i wasn't hurting for a slot. move your e50 crew over and sell it.

Makes sense. Only reason I'd add to moving t-54 crew is for clan war use.

If you have the xp to spare, just do it. The 12t's best attributes are just mediocre, and it gets the terrible light mm. The 13 75 appears no better at first glance, but it is a lot faster and its gun depression is pretty ok. Or so I hear, I have the 13 75 unlocked but haven't tackled it yet. The 12t was so disappointing that I have been putting that line off for a while.

With the sale I finally decided to try the 13 75... You have to have the tracks to mount anything, even vents, so I am pew pewing with 108mm of penetration until I can faceroll enough exp for tracks. I think it has some potential since it gets a stronger engine and is more nimble, but its gun only depresses to six degrees. The 12t's four degrees was a fucking joke, but six is still pretty weak. I'm not sure how much damage I will be able to do in this thing.

Well I decided to start moving down the American Autoloader line again. I don't think I could play the sameish tanks all over again for the Leopards since I already have an E-50.

I'm grinding down the very long grind on the T69. I'm playing better too. The autoloader forces me to not over commit and make stupid decisions and forces me to play smarter. Frontally the tank is horrible due to the low pen gun, but I stay back and flank and unload into much thinner side armor and am enjoying it.

I don't use a ton of gold ammo on it due to saving money for the tier 9 autoloader but will use it when I really need to, then the gun is pretty scary.

Good luck to anyone going down the French line, I couldn't bring myself to continue after the 13 75.

The only shining gem is the batchat. All the lights in the french line are lackluster even before the nerf, and the 13-75 was the only good balance between damage, tier and speed.

For the T69 you need to run gold. I routinely lose 50k a game playing that tank (depending on how much I miss). It's an absolute beast if you load gold, though that's been somewhat tuned down after the HEAT shell normalization.

The turret can be pretty bouncy though. Just don't expect the hull to bounce anything.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I will stick with the french lights either. I had heard the 13 90 was quite good in its own way, but this grind is just terrible, the tanks are mediocre at best, and I just realized the 13 90's battle tiers are 9-12. For reference, the Bat Chat's battle tiers are 10-12.

So I'm thinking about moving that crew to the TDs instead. The Bathtub and the ARL look fun, and being t5 and t6 they should make some money.

High dispersion, ridiculous bloom, low shell velocity, low impulse and strange behaving guns. People also complain the guns have fairly low alpha (unless you're in a 1948). The guns have sort of the worst hidden stats out of all the guns in the game, with exception to the T-34 and T-30 guns.

yea the weird gun, i was the last one alive in my 704 with maybe 300 health left against a foch155 who had 700 health, anyways he saw me first, i started turning with the "oh shit it's over face" and he fired and missed, he was complaining about the french gun saying while he didn't let the reticle shrink all the way, my entire 704 was inside the circle when he fired and he completely missed me, and i got the shot in before he was able to get his 2nd shot off.

weird game just now in my 704, it was the new map, i usually get spotted as soon as i fire no matter how far away i am, but for some reason they could not spot me, it ended in a draw but it was 2 v 8 and i took out 6. they had 2 arty, a lowe, a patton, ferdinand, jgpze100, e75, and some wz something. i took everything out except for 1 arty that stayed @ their spawn i assume, and the lowe said fuck that i'm not gonna bother looking for you. the whole time i was in the general hiding area, did not move except back and forth after each shot hoping to avoid getting arty'd. i also took 0 damage that game haha

It used to be one of my favorite tanks that I planned to keep forever and I have an Ace Tanker badge in it, nut now it just seems fucking awful. Turret just seems to be made of paper, it doesn't matter if I go hull down or RPAB or whatever, they just shoot my turret and it goes straight through (turret face, cheeks, wherever).

They had that base 900 exp mission. Not too fair to arty. I just did close to 6k damage in my arty and got 735 base exp.

nope. You've always been able to pen the T2 turret if you had a good pen gun, I think most tier 10 guns go right through it. If anything the tiger 2's a better sniper now thanks to the aim change. But the prevelance of gold rounds means a lot of t8 guns can go through your turret face if they get a good roll, just don't forget your copula is still vulnerable and you need to angle your turret even when hulled down. Just don't expose the cheeks, those are traditionally weak.

In my experience, KTs are extremely easy to kill if they are stationary. The front of the turret is a flat 185, so from 150m or so a t8 heavy can often hit that and punch straight through. You do have to be close enough to hit the front without hitting the mantlet, but it is doable. The cupola is also often vulnerable, and the sides of the turret are vulnerable to absolutely everything unless the turret is facing straight at the shooter. But, I think its biggest problem is the KT has been around a long time and it stands out, so everyone knows its weaknesses.

I remember you used to be able to shoot directly into the gun and it was an auto-pen since it had 0 armor. They fixed it, but fun times...

I don't think they ever changed it. If you need the fire thing to be more obvious, there's a mod that shows a giant fire symbol on your screen if you're on fire or something like that.

Also the anniversary bundles are pretty good... and the KV5 is back with the bonus tetrach! The only lemon is the $15 package which sucks in value. If the russian heavies were any good I'd for sure grab the KV5, unfortunately there no good t10 russian heavies so it seems like a waste to me.

Contemplating getting the $50~ cash/gold package (~ 5m credits) so I can buy the tanks I want, but I never liked their conversion rates and prefer to get a premium and grind out the credits.

But the next on-track will be the leopard line and I could buy the indien-panzer on sale...
