Only 12k more to go on my T25/2 before I get the T28-Proto. Light is at the end of the tunnel! Grind some more tonight after work.

My opinion on TKing is the only time anyone should shoot a team mate is if they shoot you first. Just a rule I have. And for the record I will usually stop capping if others ask. I don't care whether win is by capping or total enemy elimination.

If someone is actively preventing me from playing the game, I will kill them. I've never had this happen to me but it happened to a clan-mate while we were platooned. There were some fucktards in a Maus/loltraktor platoon and the loltraktor just griefed my clanmate's arty constantly. I think this is entirely justified. I'm here to win and/or have fun... can't do either if some asshole is constantly ramming me or whatnot.

Similarly if someone obstructs me (e.g., parks right behind my tank so that I can't back up), I will return the favor unless I receive an apology.

As for capping, I personally hate games where like 2/3 of the enemy is still alive and my team caps. Yes, it's a win. But it's incredibly unsatisfying b/c it was 100% based on luck. Both teams went for some kind of stupid bum-rush, and one team was retarded, allowing themselves to be held up by minor defenses and/or leaving entire flanks wide open. Doesn't take any skill or thought to pull this off, and it's boring. Thankfully it doesn't happen that often (except on Komarin, fuck that map).

And if there's just 1 or 2 enemies left, then yeah capping = more xp for all team members. Kill = more xp for the people doing the killing. If I'm on cap, it's pretty case-by-case for whether I'm willing to get off cap... but if it looks pretty guaranteed, I'm willing to let others try to kill everyone. So I'll hop off cap when I get near 100% and hop back on again to maximize the chance that the cap bar isn't 0 if my teammates fail.

But what I *HATE* about capping is how stupidly people go about it. It is NOT ok to run like 6 tanks onto cap and just sit there when you KNOW the enemy is coming back in force. Caps are incredibly vulnerable. Just sitting there means a few enemy tanks peeking out of cover/hull down/etc can reset you constantly while their arty eventually kills you. Meanwhile you accomplish basically 0. Worthless. Just b/c you make it to cap early doesn't mean you need to cap *RIGHT NOW*. It's often more valuable to proceed onward & kill off their arty/flank for beleaguered friendlies.

If you want to cap, you need to do your utmost to ensure that the cap process will complete successfully. Praying that the enemy cannot reset you fast enough/you get lucky bounces is fucking stupid. Piling behind dead tanks is fucking stupid unless the hiders are small & arty is gone. Of course there are exceptions to based on relative tank strengths/distances involved, but basically people need to use what little brains they have more.

Starting to see the joy in the KV. 10-20k a game. Had to adjust my tactics to peekaboo style fighting. Just got that -10% reload equipped and upgraded engine (thank you 5x) so well see how that goes.

i got the hellcat, got everything but the 90mm
it's pretty fast but it doesnt do enuf damage for me to want to play in it, i will just try to get to the t25/2 as fast as i can

paper armor doesn't help either

Once you get the 90mm then it can deal some damage for its tier. Enjoy the Hellcat because once you get the T25/5 it gets slow and frustrating.

goddamnit i'm a sucker and bought the churchill. peeps were clamoring 20-40k a game so we'll see what's up.

I picked one up also. It's pretty sweet! Debating on picking up a Lowe since I'm on vacation this week and have a huge backlog of tanks that I need credits for...

Well, miscounted the xp I needed for the T28-Proto. It was 22k not 12k. Anyway I'am now 9k away from the T28 Proto. I could buy it with the free xp I have but I'll wait and use that to upgrade tracks upon buying the T28 Proto. I can suffer another 9k grind. I plan on stopping at the T28 proto. Doesn't sound like the last TD in line is all that great. I need to start on my T44 again. Still needs lots of xp to get to T54.

The thing I noticed about all my TD's is the simple fact that everything they can do, a heavy or medium can do just as well if not better.
TD's should have SOME decent advantage like far better view range or some such.

Same for many mediums - the maps are so small (twice the size of Steppes/El Halluf if the min for real strategic play IMO) that it often comes down to trading shots at 2-3 known locations and thats about it.

TD's have better camo and better guns (faster and/or more pen or damage) than equivalent level heavies or mediums. In general, they always sacrifice mobility, and sometimes armor and hit points.

I don't know, that 155mm gun on the T30 is scary and I want to hit people in the face with it.

The T28 Proto is fun, it's like the T28 but the turret makes all the difference in removing the frustration I had with the T28. One being too low and the other how hard it was to get on target.

Turret really adds so much to the TD line.

The armor on the T28 Proto is great too, though the turret cheeks and the mudflaps... ( Yeah.. WTF with the mudflaps again shit) are weak spots frontally.

I had the T28 previously researched so I only had to buy the tracks and am running around with the 120mm gun. No idea how stock T28 Proto plays. It makes good money too.

I dont know either. They say the tank is slow. The turret is slow. The gun is also a slow reload. Not sure I'm up for all that. I get to the T28-Proto and I'll probably back off on its grind some. I have other tanks I like to play as well. Play one too long and I get bored after a while. I'm guessing the grind to the last TD is really long.

Somebody platoons in a tier one or tier two tank into a high tier battle I kill them. Yet to get ban.

Those are griefers. I won't personally do it, but I won't cry foul if someone does shoot the loltractor.

If your teammates are capping, and you shoot them because you want to kill that one last tank? Ban pretty much justified.

Love the Anniversary promotion. With premium and x5 it's easily 3k to 5k exp in the first victory, saves so much grinding time. Anyone notices that the sale for the 3-day premium account is actually cheaper than the 7-day?
