I try not to brawl with German tanks. They have horrible turret and hull traverse except the PZIII\IV. I try to sit back and nip at people which usually gets me arty interest or they shoot back which usually hurts worse than I am doing to them. A lot of maps however dont allow for 300-400 meters sniping. Running the best gun the tank feels like it needs a slightly less accurate gun that does more damage. Nipping at people for 100-150 damage a shot puts it at a disadvantage compared to something like the T43 or T20. I know in the T20 the panther was a tasty treat to fall upon. Never feared them ever. I get there is supposed to be an accuracy bonus for this gun. But I havent run into a situation yet where a Russian or American gun with less accuracy cant hit out to its viewing range with consistency. And they hit a hell of a lot harder.

I actually liked my panther. It definately not a brawler, and you learn quick that a head to head fight with an IS(or other equal tier heavy) is something you can't win. The reload speed, accuracy and pen is very nice, although the damage is lacking. When used as a sniper, you are deadly accurate. I've made out with quite a few top guns on my panther.
One thing to keep in mind on the panther, is since the gun has a high RoF and awesome pen, but low damage is to always aim for the engine/fuel tanks. You can easily triple the damage of your one shot by lighting your enemy on fire, and this tank excels at doing this.

I don't use premium so Panther was my credit maker before T34 became premium. It depends on the team way too much. L100 is cute but useless when enemy is close by, which happens to be the case most of the time in WOT. Anything that shoots 6rpm will own the Panther 1 on 1. Maybe on gold gas it could circle a heavy but still can't do enough damage before it's blown up. Killing high tier arty requires 3-4 rounds or even more, the Panther can't live that long.

At least you get the unlocked bigger gun at the earlier tier. With the GW Tiger you have to grind through the first ~60k exp with the stock gun on a tier 7 arty... UG!
I just got a 24 hour suspension for team kills. We had 8 tanks left on our team and a single tank on theirs...which all but two of our lame ass team was chasing. So i killed them. Clearly I was in a bad mood but also one of them said "suck a dick" and they other said "FU" when I asked them to stop capping.
Apparently there's an automatic TK suspension for 24 hours! Who knew!?!? 🙂

Nice. So somebody who contributed a huge amount to the team effort deserves a permaban for getting annoyed at two useless people that decide to stay on cap when everybody else wants to just hit the last tank for 200hp? There's a reason this is a 24hr ban. I laughed when I saw the message (almost immediately), since I felt it was deserved by me. As I said above, I was in a bad mood already, but these useless turds deserved it (so did I).
A good result. Funny too.
Most definitely deserves a perma-ban. It's the pretentious arseholes who are ruining the game!

Looks like many players are ready to migrate to another tank game if someone gets it done right. In game, everybody is complaining or raging about something so I think the market is definitely there. I wouldn't mind if pros pick up on it, WG is focusing on world of warplanes anyway.

I dont understand why everbody thinks you get more points for killing everyone. I have been threatnd plenty of times for capping after putting up a good fight. I say permaban

Somebody should almost always go cap. It gives you the ability to win two times. If somehow the one tank had an epic defense and killed all the guys chasing him, you would still win because of those capping. Further, when one starts to cap it normally causes the enemy team to go into disarray. You have no idea how often I have seen 4-5 tanks go defend when one pos scout begins to cap them. It allows your team to push on the weakened flank and relieve pressure of your defense.
Capping should exist and I am VERY glad it does. I do not fault anyone who sits on the cap even when I am about to get Top Gun or something. A win is a win is a win.
