Damnit I need a better computer, haha. I play on a laptop with a ATI HD3650 which is awful for gaming. In close combat, my frames can drop so low that can no longer effectively aim at stuff :( I'd be so much better at brawling if seeing smoke wasn't the same as having my gun knocked out.

Remove the smoke effects.

i kinda want the jagdtiger but it's not used much in clan wars

No TD is. The jagged tiger is an interesting TD, I like it with the top gun, but it seems paper thin. I also get very weird misses in it which is not something I expect with the accuracy of the German guns.

The BDR, it's not as bad with the best gun when it's the top tank; some people like the Lee more than others, it's basically a TD.

Well I got my T34, now I get to let it rot until the patch drops.

It is a very good tank.

Can be highly frustrating though but it's well worth it when you start kicking backside.

164 matches played: 56% win rate, 851 average exp per battle, 255 kills with 2.6 kills/death ratio, 2390 average damage, 1.5 times damage ratio, 79% hit ratio, 1850 efficiency.

The M103 will potentially make it much. much better. Smaller tank, more armour, has the 105mm as stock, the current 120mm is the first upgrade and the top gun is a 120mm which should be almost identical to the French 120mm. I'd expect it to be a bit more mobile too, potentially faster.

Apparently my T32 play was exciting enough for the cmdr of Relic 2nd to recruit me, haha. Haven't decided if I want to join a clan yet but I did join their TS & platoon with 2 other guys.

Holy crap, what a difference that made! We played something like 10 games, losing only 2 (T32, Lowe, Type59 was our group). I've never won that reliably in my T32, lol. It was more light hearted and we weren't really coordinating too much but just having 3 people together made a big diff.

Makes me really curious to play company battles w/them. Maybe having a regular group to platoon with would be valuable...

I just stepped up from PzKw IV to VK 3001(P).

Dang, I had forgotten how much stock tanks sucks.
My PzKwIV has less amour...but the 7.5 L70 gun makes it a good sniper.
My VK 3001(P) just moves really slow to it's death.

Got the suspension upgraded now...aiming for an engine upgrade next...only 2200 XP left to go....

Both the BDR and 3001P tanks suck even when fully upgraded. Which is worse? Well, they both are very different tanks at different tiers but I'd say grinding through the 3001P was less painful of the two but not by much. Personally I wouldn't want to play either ever again but that's just me. They both belong on my 'Sucky Tank' list. The German line does get better however right after the 3001P. Can't say that for the BDR. The French heavy line is pretty much messed up and in need of serious help IMO.

I didn't think the 3001p was that bad after it was fully upgraded. I had the short88 from the 3601 already so that shortened the grind a little bit.

But after full upgrades, the 3001p was like a shittier 3601. But you feel that shittiness the most in its own tier. Against higher tiers, the 3601's greater survivability doesn't help as much (but the extra hp sure is nice). Otherwise I played them fairly similarly and was reasonably successful. Hang back with the 3001 and take shots of opportunity. With the 75 or 88 you're accurate enough to snipe. Hold your fire against things you can't pen. Then move up and flank; aim carefully and the short88 will show you the love. Even in tier7, I had a good time w/the panther & vk3002 with the short88... it's a good gun. Pen sucks but you can compensate w/good flanking play (on most maps anyway... fuck you komarin)

Btw I'd always recommend 3601 first. Godamn that tank is awesome. It's still my fav.

Just got the amx13 75 and.... wow. This little tank is a beast and packs such a huge punch for its tier its incredible. It bounces a LOT due to its low caliber shell but the mobility and firepower is unreal. The reload i find is not that big of a problem if you're not trying to take on the world by yourself. Use it as a sniper/support and when needed.... cleanup.

One game I saw a lowe and a t-59 at low health... so I dashed in and blew both up before they could turn their turrets. I got killed in the process but the rest of the team quickly cleaned up without two bothersome tier 8s running around.

This thing is waaaay dangerous.

Yeah, the French medium line is pretty decent. I haven't played one but have fought against many of them zippy six shooters. They are really squishy but dangerous if ignored. Damn things are hard to hit too when they are going at full speed. You have to be real good at leading them when taking a shot.

Well I bought my E-75 over the weekend. I only got around to unlocking the tracks and turret, but I'm still fairly disapointed with it at the moment. Currently its not really any better than my tiger2 and it costs alot more to repair. Thankfully I can still make money with it on most games. However those games where I get demolished by arty within the first min or 2 can be costly.

I've also been playing my S-51 arty. At first I hated it, since I hadn't played arty in a very long time. Once I got the hang of it though it got fun. I've basically been countering the enemy artillery, which is very satisfying when you take out the enemies unseen arty within the first minutes of the map. I also love shooting at the french tanks. A direct hit on one will usually kill it or do 800+ damage. I still have the first gun, but I can't wait to unlock the better gun (203mm I think) as the damage is double. I'm just not sure I'll be able to withstand the 40sec or so reload time compared to the 23 seconds I'm at now.

you'll get used to the reload time on the S-51, it's actually better since it's hard to counter you because of that reload time. and the 1800 splash damage rules.

as for the E-75, best tier 9 hands down. angle a bit and it bounces a lot of shots. i started off with the top gun and turret tho as i saved up free xp just for that.

E-75 is beast mode when played right. I think the IS4 is more forgiving for new players.

Busted out the derp KV last night and was the highest tank in the MM. Just sat back and blasted the other team away. Had to be a bunch of nubs. Some M3 Lee player sat in front of me after I blasted a T-34. He didnt try to move and continued to hope to penetrate me while my gun reloaded over the course of 20 seconds. Once reloaded he went to tank heaven. Of course I didnt make it through the match. An M7 got me. But finished with a 6 kills on 7 shots. All shots connected. But I couldnt one shot the T-34.

Still grinding through the KT. My win % is pathetic at 42%. But I have a positive kill ratio. In 105 games I have 120 kills. Nothing great but considering the teams I have had with this tank. I will take it! My survival rate is 34%.

i liked the KT, but i couldn't justify keeping it as i needed the crew on my E75, plus the E75 looks the same :)

I didn't have enough free xp to get the tracks, turret and gun. I still don't have the gun. Prior to getting the turret though, not alot bounces, but afterwards I've gotten a few steel walls already. The 10.5cm seems to bounce alot, especially off those pesky IS-4/7s. I can't wait till I get the last gun though. The extra 20 or so pen coupled with the extra damage is going to be a game changer for that tank.

I am keeping mine for company battles and it is a pretty fun tank. But from what I hear the E75 is like the KT on steroids. So I think my play level on that tank will be limited to company battles.

The e-75 doesn't become a real tank until you get ALL the upgrades, final engine included. The gun makes a huge difference in your money making capabilities (same cost for more damage) and the final engine makes the tank as nimble as the tiger II. Prior to that you're just sluggish and need to be played like a KV-3 instead.

Of course to get the turret you need the tracks, to get the gun you need the turret yadda yadda...

Once you get the 12.8cm gun the E-75 becomes a real beast of a tank. The last engine makes a difference too. I went gun first and engine last on the E-75. I like being able to damage as much as possible and it makes grinding the rest of the possible upgrades easier. Once fully upgraded the biggest threat to the E-75 is arty I feel. Other tanks you can hurt but you can't get to the arty in the rear and most of the battles I get into seem to have three or four arty per side which is just too many IMO.

or even 2 T92s would be too much. Been in games with 2 tier 7 and 2 tier 8 arties... even a Maus melts with 1 volley under that kind of fire power.

They need to make arty not one shot wonders. Increased ROF and less damage would've been a much better idea as opposed to 1.5k damage shells.

They do, it's called lower tier arty.

They could leave arty just as they are and script it into the MM to only allow one or two arty per side per battle and I would be happy with that.
