Speaking of Type 59 ammo racks, I just had an IS3 ammo rack me from full health to dead in one shot. Damnit!

I seem to ammo rack them a lot with my IS3 too, or really any really big caliber gun seems to just vaporize those Type 59s well.

I will try to grind out my ARL and get the m4 1945 at half price. I have unlocked the E100 and am only 200k credits short of that, but it can wait if I can get the next frenchie at half price!

as for the E100, it's underwhelming, i got it after the armor changes
maus/is-7 by far > E100 imo, i almost want to say i hate the e100

I love fighting 59s in my KT. I've ammo racked probably 5 or 6 of them now. My best experience was when I was in my M6 and 2 Type-59s rushed me and went to surround me. As the first passed me and exposed his side I shot and ammo racked him from full health. I was so busy laughing at that poor bastard that the other type-59 easily killed me.

As for 7.2 I don't see it dropping by this weekend, so just set aside an entire day to play and you'll easily get your 50k xp and million credits. I felt relieved after I grinded out my T34. I think it took me a month or so to do starting from the M3 Lee. I do happen to have alot of free time on my hands though since my wife is busy most days doing school work.

The last official news (I think) was that 7.2 was expected "in February."

I'll be glad to rid myself of this glass cannon T34. I'm tired of tier 6 mediums (and lights!) penning from the front. I hope the replacement sucks less.

Yes I did it with premium. I think its around 400k+ xp you will need to grind out. I'm thinking 7.2 will be out the last week of Feb if its even realeased in Feb at all. You are probably looking at a good 60-80+ hours of game time depending on how good/bad your matches are. Its a pretty hellish grind, especially since you are playing the same tanks. The T32 makes you cry when you first unlock it, no turret and tracks its a downgrade from the T29. Once upgraded the M6, T29 and T32 are all good tanks. I still have them all in my garage and still play them.

I haven't played the T34 at all since I didn't think there was a point in getting xp for a tank that will become premium. That and I'm not sure how the xp will transfer if at all to the tank that will be replacing it. I just hope that its a good money maker since it will become premium since i dont own a lowe, kv-5 or Type 59.

E-100 is definitely the jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none tank of the Tier 10s.

Second best armored T10
Second slowest T10
Highest alpha T10
Lowest pen T10
Slowest RoF (tied with T30)

Where the E100 really shines is in Clan Wars where everyone is throwing around gold rounds. Then the penetration is high enough to make every shot hit for damage. It plays as a hybrid Maus/T30. If you need high alpha from a relatively static position, go with the E100. If you need high alpha that needs to move around, go with the T30. Maus is still the meatshield and the IS-7 and AMX are the assault tanks. If you need your alpha to follow a Maus, use the E100. If you need it to follow IS-7s, use the T30.

Well I've decided to go and grind through my IS-3 to the IS-4 before the patch goes. I'm saving my money and about 60k xp away from it. It really goes by pretty quick with the IS-3 though due to the high damage of it and it's a joy to play with the fast speed and really bouncy front armor.

I missed playing it. Russian tanks just play so much different than the German ones. I like my E-75.. but something to be said for these Russian tanks. Maybe it's the easy mode.

Well I've decided to go and grind through my IS-3 to the IS-4 before the patch goes.

I'm in the same boat, but I'm only 15k toward the IS4 and I don't have any of the upgraded gear. The top gun is 44k and I'd need the turret or the tracks to mount it, at about 15k for either one. That's about 60k just for the damned gun! I'm probably going to grind to the IS4 without the gun, which really makes the tank less effective. It's still a great tank though. I was very surprised when I took it out for the first time with just the gear I already had researched.

you will NEED the BL9 for the is-3, it is what makes it the is-3.
you have plenty of time i believe before the russian patch

I realize that the IS3 without the best gun isn't perfect, but its still pretty good and I'm not willing to risk a free tank! Once I bank some XP I might grab the gun, but that's a boatload of XP. And yes, I will need the damned gun on the IS4 anyway so I have to get it eventually.

I change things up by running my T34 around with the good gun, doing good damage but dying to just about anything, then I jump in the IS3 and enjoy the sound of rounds bouncing - even with the crappy turret with half of the armor of the top turret.

Once the new patch hits the test server you can figure 1-2 weeks it goes live on regular servers. That seems to be the norm. There can always be exceptions though.

Half price for a crappy tank. Its basically a ARL44 with more HPs. Not something worth buying. My ARL 44 has no problem killing one. I'm pretty upset with the French heavy line. They should never have made it into the game. The time would have been better spent working on the British tanks or something more compelling. Just my own opinion.

Ugh I hope the T34 premium will make good credits. I'm at 2.2mil & 75k xp on my T32 with 90k free xp. So depending on when the T34 thing happens this could clean me out, haha. But I'm also ready to get Pershing, T-43, S-51, and VK4201A. But nowhere near enough credits for even one of those, lol.

edit: the panther with the long75 is a WHOLE NEW TANK. holy crap! It's actually... good! FINALLY!

I suspect it's going to be right inline with the Lowe and Type 59. That big gun on it though should absolutely make credit generation easy and I suspect you'll make more credits more often than the other premiums.

That's just my guess though.

I just racked up 25.000 XP in my PzIV (with the 7.5 L70 on a Panther turret) in 2 days...I think I have to much spare time :whiste:

SPG with autoloader before or after the travesty that are the French tanks that are now being on the nerfing block?

yea it's a good thing they have no armor cuz the french tanks can get to chokepoints a good 5-10 seconds before any other tanks

i just got killed by a batchat in my object 212, right when round started i did a 90 degree turn and started moving, before i could make it 25 meters, i was dead already

i dont think im gonna bother with the french line, guess i will grind up american finally.

Damnit I need a better computer, haha. I play on a laptop with a ATI HD3650 which is awful for gaming. In close combat, my frames can drop so low that can no longer effectively aim at stuff I'd be so much better at brawling if seeing smoke wasn't the same as having my gun knocked out.
