The fully upgraded Tiger 2 is one of my favorite tanks in the game. It can take a good deal of punishment and dish it out. Get the KT fully upgraded and the crew to 100% and its a great performing tank.

Sweet, I will take double credits on my KV and KV-3 😀

Need too much experience to get the IS though 🙁

Need engine + IS.

Anybody see this "DLC pack" on sale for $10?

T2 Light Tank, 1 week Premium account, 1,050,000 Credits, 1,800 Gold

By my math, the 1,800 gold is worth $7.50 (measured at the $50/12k gold level), the week of premium is worth $2.43 (measured at 2500g/month), and the T2 tank and the 1mil credits are basically free.

Would it be safe to assume that you can add this to an existing account?

EDIT: I went and bought it to try, and it does add to an existing account. It's a decent deal if the million credits and the T2 are of any use to you. I'm pretty sure that the T2 tank also came with a free garage slot, and you can sell the T2 for another 150k credits. Nice.

1800 gold (value=$7.50)
1.2 million credits (sell T2 for 150k, value=?)
Garage slot (value=$1.25)
1 week premium (value=$2.50)
Total is about $11.25 excluding the value of the 1.2 million credits.

To get it, buy online then install the impulse software (like Steam). Go to my games, right click WoT and pull up "view registrations," copy the serial, and paste it into the WoT promo code page.

pretty good deal, but I'd rather just spend money and get 2500 gold as premium + a lowe (if you have one) will get you 1 mil credits EASY.

If the T2 comes with a free slot that's another 300 gold, ~$1.25. I don't have any need for it but it's a good deal if you're new to the game.

A Lowe is 12,500 gold, so its not really a fair comparison. For seasoned players, the $10 basically buys you $7.50 of gold, $2.50 of premium time, and $1.25 of garage slots. But...these are all measured at the $50 gold package level, so its a good deal at the low entry price if you can use all of it.

Personally, I needed a little bit of gold to buy some barracks slots when they go on sale this weekend. So this was a great time to find this $10 package. I've also been hurting for garage slots and credits so its win-win-win.

For existing players, we have to install on Impulse to get the benefits?

I think you need to just install Impulse in order to pull the serial key from the purchase, and then input that serial key into the promo section of your own account.

That way it's applied to your account and that's all Impulse was really needed for. I'm still waiting for impulse to update my account with WOT.

The code was hard to find, I had to place my order again. Not sure why it didn't go through the first time. Unless I just bought two copies of it...

So there I was, on Erlenburg in my GW Panther. It was a high tier game with two mice and a few tier 9's on the opposing team. I was set up on the left and behind the wall of buildings in front of the castle. This allowed me to cover the upper corner and far right positions (basically where early action happens). First shot of the game I took a miracle shot on a lowly T20. Boom, toast (he was slightly damaged). Second shot was on a T34. Double tracked and then promptly killed. In the A2 area I eventually took out a Maus from 100% on my own. This thing just wouldn't miss and I hit his turret repeatedly. A medium was scouting the Maus and the only thing that was green was the top of his turret. I had a horrible angle on it and I had a HUGE stretched circle, but the gun just kept hitting! After I took out the one Maus, our team started saying nothing but accolades for my arty. Throughout the game this gun behaved beautifully. Bang, boom, dead. We had an amazing scout that kept both enemy arty lit up long enough for my gun to cycle and kill both. End game came down to a wounded Lowe, a friendly M12 (with 0 kills, frankly I don't know what he was aiming at as I never saw his shots hit anywhere near mine), a VERY wounded high tier medium and me versus a 100% Maus. The Lowe really looked like he was going to suicide on it until I told him let the arty do its job. So he just played Ring Around the Rosy in the town and the Maus only shot the Lowe once. The M12 ended with the kill but I did a crapton of damage to it. It took 3 full minutes to kill the Maus with arty alone.

I ended with 7!? kills, 16!!!??? hits out of 22 shots (including two in final defense TD mode when the south broke open and I had to defend myself). I took a screenshot of it just for the sheer insanity of the game!

Hah well luckily Impulse cancelled the redundant order so I only got 1 copy. That little T2 is fun!

Now, as for the Tiger II I had my best game recently. I was able to actually stay alive and bounce more shots. I fired 15 rounds, landed all 15 and took 15 hits. So I got Steel Wall, Master Gunner and Sniper.

Still not my best tank, but I'm learning it.

I wish my SU-26 would perform anywhere near that level.

Back in beta I went a little ways up the American arty line, then after release I went up to the SU-26, before stepping away from the game for awhile. I finally got around to coming back in the last couple of weeks, and I could swear that instead of weighting the center of the aiming circle heaviest, they now weight the sides the most.

Even when I have a great shot, chances are pretty good the shell will miss. Often it will catch them with a little bit of splash, but that is it. Several times I've managed to totally miss a heavy that all but completely fills my aiming circle.

Granted, I'm sure things aren't as bad as they seem, but I don't recall ever having this many problems back in beta, nor right after release.

i wonder if caps lock + 0 works for the arty crosshair also, i'd try it but don't play arty, or at least not yet

Arty is very frustrating to play. I'm sure that all of the "nerf arty" cries impact the probability equations they build into the game.

if arty behaves anywhere similar to a normal tank it won't matter a single bit where you're aiming until you hit 100% crew. Once you get 100% the shots start landing at the center a lot more.
