Mastery Badges have nothing to do with damage though. Its based entirely off experience. Yes damage adds to experience, but its not the only thing that does. You can have a lower damage game but still be in the top few tanks for experience. If you sat back and sniped the whole game, its not surprising you didn't get any badges. Its important to try and get spots, crits, or assists to get your exp higher.
 
About as hard as I figured it would be to get a 3rd Marks of Excellence. Peaked at 94.0% then floated at 93.x% for quite a few games, then got two 2k damage games. Voila.

Nice tank, gun accuracy is annoying, got Smooth Ride and Snap Shot to help out, just reset the crew skills to them, so hopefully it'll help a bit.

I have a match that seems like a bug where an enemy wasn't spotted.

If anyone wants to see, rather than messing with an upload, PM and I'll e-mail a replay.
 
I killed 3 arty and one TD in my Pershing.

With 17hp left.

I'd like to say it was skill on my part, but...lol on them.
 
Just had to post these up. As much as people complain about the M3 Lee, I have really done well in it:

I did well in the M3 Lee until my last few games in, 3? 4? losses in a row which sunk it below 50% win rate. I didn't think it was that bad too, just have to play differently.

I need to try out the M4 more and use the 105mm. Never gave it a fair shake as I just as quickly as possible down that part of the line. With it being a tier 4, ought to be a fun derping tank. I normally did that in the Pz. IV at tier 5 and Sherman Jumbo.

The M4 is T5. I actually prefer the 76mm. I like derps (I love my VK28 with the 105) but the M4 just doesn't fit the profile as well. I think it works better as a support medium unless its top tier.

Wow, sorry to hear that, I have yet to give that a serious try myself. It's the last one I need to get that T-55A, still need arty for the whole part.

Perhaps one weekend if you're available I can give you a hand. Either by playing artillery or WT auf Pz E100, JgPz E100 and hope it lands on Prokhorovka or Malinovka. Not this coming up weekend though, following one I'll be available and may have my platoon mate available too.

What LTs are you using by the way?

At least platoon wise, can focus fire and shoot what you spot.

I'm working on the free British tank, so I'll need to dish out damage anyhow.

Yeah maybe platooning with arty players would help. So far I've been going solo so I could do a bunch in a row (platooning always slows things down), but it isn't working great so perhaps platoon (particularly with arty) is the way to go. My clan doesn't really have any arty players so I appreciate the offer.

I'm also not available this weekend (at a conference all weekend) so perhaps the following weekend if I haven't gotten it yet.

I have been trying with RU 251 and AMX 13 90 mostly, with a smattering of Type 62 and T-71 thrown in. Those are the best lights I have.

One bad thing is I have 2 tier 8 SPGs, I can buy the German tier 9 but been waiting for a sale or have credits for it.

RU 251 and AMX 13 90 have the best camo for their tiers. RU of the 4 you mentioned, has best DPM. About 800 more than 13 90.

Do you run with camo net, coated optics and binoculars for this LT-15?

Are you aware of the early passive spotting location on Malinovka? When it's a standard battle that is.


EDIT: You know, it just occurred to me, in the next patch, they're removing 2 more maps. That increases Prokhorovka and Malinovka showing up.

GG. I'm not sure i would have had the balls to run out in the open in a tier X game. I always play really cautious in my LTTB when i get X. You don't think there was a good chance of being spotted because of their view range?

Why didn't you reload after shooting the T30? Is the clip time really bad?

Wish the WOTLabs camouflage calculator was working to use as an example with numbers.

I know I can be about 350m or so away from enemy tanks without being spotted. That is why I wish the calculator was available to verify that number. Hence why I could go through the open field area. Now if an enemy tank had pulled up to where that JgPz E100 was at and had binoculars, then perhaps I would get spotted. Binos can give "hyper vision" within the 445m view range compared to coated optics.

It did make me nervous, since I had a further spawn away from that location. For me to do my mission, I needed to take that chance. What if the enemy T49 decided to take that bush I parked at too? Which I've done before, same bush, from other starting location in that AMX 13 90. But you really, really, need camo net to not get spotted by the tanks that sit on that little mound at C5 area.

Reload time on that with is about 38 seconds. I didn't reload because I had plans on shooting the 113 and the Patton. 113 died, so I went for Patton, mostly wanting to shoot his tracks, and collect more spotting/tracking damage.

Camo values, so the T49 wouldn't be able to spot me unless I was 316m away and that depends if the T49 had Brothers in Arms, Food, Vents, and Coated Optics. Start taking Food and BiA away it becomes 298m.

I don't really like my Lee, but I have a almost 75% (74.52) win ratio with it and about 300 (282) games. My damage ratio with it is 1.4 also which I cant dismiss, my overall is only about .9 and MY win ratio is only 52% .I have kept it specifically as my win Ratio is where its at, and doesn't seem to change. I think i play it more intelligent because I feel its so limited (no Armour, no turret) but has OK speed and gun. I know in the wrong match its horrible, but again, I seem to get fair to OK match making with it which I don't seem to get (as consistently) with other tanks. Its the only tank i have kept that I don't really like (but again I like that win ratio). I do my 2x every day i play in it. I would guess my skill is improving some (dont seem like it) so that helps in the lower tiers where it would be fighting. I know I have noticed that in my loltracktor i do great too (kept it also for some NOOB crushing, at least I don't use a OP Sealclubber tank) i have it at almost 69% win ratio with 200 some games too. But that i put down to noob hunting.

Right now I'm grinding the Japan Heavy line and have some intense dislike for the 95's, i cant get over how many bounces i get, I'm to the point i think Wargaming is fudging the bounce math to lead you down that pay to win ammo path (ya i know it can be bought without money).
