i have the lorraine, with the top gun if you play it as a sniper it dominates
the 13-90 i played more like a gnat bugging the hell out of larger tanks and
unloading my drum on their sides/back.
like any other french tanks tho, tier1's can pen it to try to keep moving or be far enough away while attacking.
I usually keep moving or skip some frames and stutter.
The AMX13-90 is a mobile gun platform that can double as a scout. It's a terrible sniper (medium velocity gun + long aim time + huge dispersion circle) and the gun is not center heavy. The shell loses penetration values very rapidly over distance and I find it fairly useless beyond 200m engagements. I also use it as an "assassin", driving right behind tanks to unload all 6 rounds. This usually does about 1k~ worth of damage, so gauge wisely. Of course, doing this to lone tanks is far more productive...
Reload's long as well. But I plan to keep the 13-90 as it makes lots of moolah.
my bad habit with french tanks is i dont care if i die because of the xp gain from unloading and hitting with all 6 shots LOL.

The 107 can be used with a 75%-90% crew and will penetrate any Tier 8 heavy from the front with good aiming and some small RNG luck to hit the spots (large enough) that you are aiming at.
The 152mm is best with a 100% crew, Shell Rammer, Enhanced Gun Laying Drive and probably Ventilation (Vents). Brothers In Arms would be ideal too. It also requires luck, patience and skill with more bits of luck. The 152mm KV can be hilariously good fun where you can 1-shot some tanks or do upwards of 1k damage to a higher tier tank and it can also lead to being 1-shotted without firing a shot or hitting anything at all.
This is why I recommend the 107. It starts playing like a Heavy Tank and can punch above it's weight. The 152 acts more like a close range artillery piece and really requires a lot more experience.
Drat. Of all the days in the week I decided to play yesterday... but Hellcat yes please! Almost have enough for one... just 5k exp to go.
The only crew member I would possibly rename is the commander in my E75 to Michael Wittmann. But that is probably not going to happen.
As far as I'm concerned, my crews are all named commander, gunner, driver, loader, and radio man. Why they have real names is a mystery.

RNG hates my E-75. I don't know what the hell is up w/that tank but I hate it right now. My M103 & IS-4 have like 60% or higher win rates... E-75? 38%. Fucking. Awful!!!!
The gun... it's bad. I don't feel like it's very accurate and the penetration just sucks. Can't pen the shoulders of an IS-7 even when they're facing me. Can't pen the lower glacis or the cmdr tumor on the T110 reliably, UGH.
reading the forums it appears the t25/2 is horrible as shit. now i'm not sure i even want to buy it, i should just go down another line....
The T28 Proto is nice however. Slow as hell though. Once you have the big gun on it its like KA-BOOM!
does the t25/2 take engine damage as easily as the m18? seems my engine is always destroyed the first shot and set on fire
Heh, thanks to tank-tracker.com I got to see my past 24 hours dip down to 37%! Only the Fat Bastard (e100) could get a win. I had to go TD mode in my Type E in 3 different games. I did manage to pull off a TD mode win in my 261 though, that was EPIC.
The T25/2 is just like the M18 when it is shot. It takes the hit to whatever part of the tank it gets shot. You rely heavily on your team to carry you to victory. The upside is that everyone knows you are not much of a threat and don't expect much from you so they don't nag at you to do better or harass you when you fail. Downside? Everyone knows you are not much of a threat and race to kill you once spotted.
Edit: If you like a fast moving TD action then the M18 is as good as it gets. After it the American TDs get slow. After the T25/2 they get good guns for their tier again.

I have found a new low tier fav - the SU-85B. Only with the last 85mm though. 130 pen, 160 damage at tier 4 is brutal. downside - the gun is as inaccurate as it gets. I don't mean text stats - you can aim at someone from 150 and get weird misses, that sort of inaccuracy. Play around it and you murder everything.
