Guys, srsly...It's the entertainment industry...is anyone really that surprised? She got what she wanted...attention. There's no bad publicity.

If I remember correctly, you have to be asked by YouTube to join their partner program, which I believe is what lets you monetize your videos. Now, if she's proposing that people would actually watch her shitty music videos, you think VEVO is going to give up dem monies? 😛

They changed it in the past year or two... Now, anyone can monetize their videos.

Well, at least I can, despite having barely 200 views on a dozen videos. Not saying I'm making anything, but I "can".
 
I was asked by Youtube to monetize my battleship broadside video a couple of years ago but I declined as I'm not the one who made it, the US navy did; I just saved it in 1999 when I came across it on the Internet. Nowadays they keep bugging me to use my real name like on my Google+ account and I prefer to keep the dennilfloss name for Youtube like I do on forums.

This dumb broad is a talentless hack. When I hear her "music" on the radio it all sounds like auto-tuned unoriginal garbage with terrible lyrics. She's the no-talent daughter of a one-hit-wonder and her voice is no better than your average karaoke singer. Even if we discount all of that, there are lots of young women more attractive than here that I'd like to see prance around mostly naked.
