a quick playing of the bose (2 minutes) reveals a very good sound stage and some good all around sounds.

ive still yet to ever ride in one though

Update: I drove it today

so i drove it today. 35 miles highway both ways. the shift from V8 to V4 mode is silent, no change in noise, no noticable ANYTHING just says "v4 mode" in V4 mode, when on flat surfaces i saw 30-34mpg, once it hits semi inclines you saw it drop to about 24. and in V8 mode it would get 20mpg cruising, and 16 on inclines 12 on hills.

it flips to V4 mode anytime you hit the brakes, start slowing down, are on level surfaces, or going downhill. it flips back to V8 mode anytime you touch the throttle, anytime it needs to accelerate, and once you hit 25mph while slowing down.

it rides SO nicely, its EXTREMELY quiet, im talking no road noise. textures all around are amazing, the forward view is amazing, the lowered dash did a LOT to the view.

when flooring it, the V8 sounds extremely low, i mean crazy low rumble. engine noise is extremely quiet.

turning radius is TIGHT, i mean TIGHT, i did a U turn cuz i missed a turn, and i didnt expect to make it at all and i made it easily.

So this is like a complete redesign from the previous years model? My co-worker bought an '06 and I've ridden in it a couple of times. Seems nice enough.

GM900T frame (brand new) interior (brand new) engine (some new tech DOD) um. yea, its ALL new.

3 total, for now... Wait until GM gets desperate, you'll see the Caddy version, the Saab version, the Pontiac "Sport" version, the Saturn "We're sooooooo different" version, etc.
