Michelle Obama, "This is not normal. This is not politics as usual."

He isn't just the wrong person, he's a poster boy for a disaster taking over the executive branch of the US government. It would be hard for me to feel pride in my country should that sack of shit win the presidency.
The religious Visigoths will do everything they can to put him into office next month and people with critical thinking skills will have to do their part and stand up against the groping menace. These religitards are so blinded by their faith to their church that they cannot see the forest for the trees. And yes I made up a new word worthy of their brilliance.😱😀

Americans need a serious reset. There should not be such vitrol on R Vs D. Bi partesan system doesnt work because it lends platform to fringe elements lest you look too centrist. I dont know how it can be done since both parties are firmly in the pocket of the corps.

Personally I don't care about party, I care about the platform. If I like more items in your plank then the other guy's and you are rational, you got my vote.

She groped me, too. It was on a plane flight. She forced her way into the bathroom with me and hung out a sign for all to see announcing my perilous status, "I'm with her."

She only stopped when I promised to vote for her and to never, never make fun of her pants suits again. My biggest shame? It moved. Yes, it moved to the left, and not just a little. It moved an entirely liberal amount, just like I hope our country is finally doing.

Bernie Sanders made this point on Bill Maher Saturday night. He said the press likes to make these races about personalities, and which one you like more, i.e., "Never mind the very American tragedy of the second Iraq invasion, I'd more like to have a beer with that amiable boob Bush."

Bernie said, "LOOK at the platforms!" He then contrasted the Democratic platform with the Republican one and showed, point by point, that the difference was clear . . . starkly so.

Her lack of pride in her country speaks directly to how much credibility you should put in her opinions. It's pretty obvious she's not going to think highly of a white dude running for President given her statement of 8 years ago.

I recall you and others being taken to the woodshed for taking that quote far out of context when it happened.

Why do you keep doing this? Is it that your memory is this poor, or you truly believe that repeating the same false arguments over and over and over again simply makes them true? DO you guys really have no conscience or honesty when it comes to accurately representing individuals' comments in the proper context?

Why isn't Bernie all out campaigning all over the USA to get his platform actually elected? He just did not seem to be too eager and fully in to that job as far as I could see from Bill Maher's show. Was I mistaken in my impression? Heck even Michelle seems to be doing more stump appearances than Bernie.

And if anybody wants more proof of the stark contrast in platforms between the Dems and Repubs, I'd tell them to take a close look at the legislation each party introduces, and what party blocks and or passes the legislation brought up for consideration.

I provided the entire context of the statement a few posts later and it's not going to help you. At best you can do what the Obama campaign did and spin it as "she meant she was proud of the voters being hopeful" or whatever. If you believe her trying to back her way out of it then bless your heart.

Yeah, now imagine being a libertarian and seeing both major party candidates and trying to divine a "corrective action" out of that pair. Think how bad things have gotten when an avowed Socialist is the best candidate by far in either major party when it comes to civil liberties. Think how bad things are when the choice isn't whether you pick someone who will raise taxes a few percentage points or gin up some new "family values" campaign to rile up the midwest rubes but are just hoping whichever one who gets picked doesn't end up resigning like Nixon or getting the entire sixth fleet sunk.

Libertarian, you mean the guy that said "What is Aleppo?"

Glenn1 does not even come off as a libertarian in his beliefs really from what I have seen.

Libertarian, you mean the guy that said "What is Aleppo?"

Gary Johnson seems too clueless in general to even consider.

Yes, yes, we understand that you think attacking the source in this picayune way somehow discredits what she said. It won't, other than in your own diving into the bunker o' denial mind.

Trump defiles women in general. Human nature being what it is, a few can accept it & even fewer apparently like it. The rest think he's a pig & they're right.

There's a point where false equivalency becomes a smokescreen for dishonesty.

Do you guys get paid each time you say "false equivalency" or did you all just suddenly decide that was your favorite phrase and to use it whenever possible even if wrongly?
