Am I the only one not concerned about this? It?s very well documented through the last century that socialists and communists are best friends.

So you say western Europe (and maybe Canada) is the best friend of comunists? How do you define "sosialist", and what exactly are you afraid of?

Concerned about the build up of a huge government system for the ?common good? (socialism) - by which a single man, or small group, comes in and dictates with it. The two forms of government are but a thin silken thread apart from each other.

People who so much as care about the Patriot Act should feel as concerned as I do, that such things are only the beginning.

Well, surprise, you can have both a socialist government, a perfectly working democracy, a fairly large state system, and 95% free markets at the same time as we have in most European countries. My own country being the example I know best, government currently run by the left parties, our best ally is the U.S. We even participate in the war in Afghanistan as part of Nato. We have (almost) free health care, free education and high taxes. Our government can be thrown at any time as we don't have an almighty president at the top. I can guaranty that the communists will not come to power anytime soon as the communist party is close to non existent. You?re afraid of things that simply aren?t anything to fear. But if you prefer to pay out of the nose for an inadequate health care system, that?s your choice, but I might add that there are better choices available

Regards

Jostein

It's a typical Bushist abuse of prosecutorial discretion for political purposes, and it's going to backfire. My guess is some moron at Treasury thought he would score brownie points with the administration by going after Moore. My guess is he is instead going to get smacked for giving Mike's movie free publicity. Moore has these rightwingers' panties in such a twist that they are playing right into his hands.
