Is that really racist though? I mean I’m sure he’s a racist, but I’m not sure that video really qualifies. It’s a stupid remark for sure based on birther crap. I feel sometimes people reach just a wee bit to far to cry racism any chance they can get. I’m sure there has to be a better video of him saying something equally as stupid that is undeniably racist?

Birther crap is racism.

Yes, "all" is not correct. Although a good majority of them, pretty much, sat there and harped on Cohen's crimes, which he has already admitted to and is going to prison for, as a reason he can't be trusted. Cohen gain's nothing by lying. In fact, he gains nothing by telling the truth either. But, the fucker is heading to the slammer. He could pull the Russian hooker tape out of his coat and project onto Jim Jordan's forehead and he's still going to prison. On the other hand, if he lies, he goes to prison AND stays longer.

This seems to be all the Republicans have!?

Everybody who works for Trump protects Mr. Trump. Presumably to the best of their ability. Which means if the someone puts its boot on your neck, you grovel and say whatever it takes to make yourself more credible, so you can live to defend Trump another day. This guy went to work for Trump, and decided every day for 10 years that working for Trump was a great idea, brilliant career move, and the best use of his time as a lawyer. The only reason we know about Cohen right now is because he got caught. I'm sure that there is exactly 0% chance, had he never been caught, Mr. Cohen would have had a spontaneous moment of clarity one morning and said to himself, "Hey, what hell am I doing?" , this shit is a crime", "this Trump guy is shady" - and legitimized his practice and actions. He's a viper. Best use for him is to squeeze the last venom from his fangs, and throw him into the same hole his coconspirators end up in.

I agree with you, but this hearing isnt about Trump. Its about Cohen. It was a result of an investigation into Trump's crew, not specifically Trump.

No its not. Its xenophobic.

i hope this conveys the requisite amount of derision:

You are right and I wrong. I went back and read the entire order and the press is mentioned. He's done and should be.

Thank you for saying so. Dunno if Judge Jackson will burn him or not, but I suspect she will. She's a busy person with more important things to do than put up with Roger Stone's shit. She'll get the minimum amount if he's in jail.

Wut?..These hearings have nothing to do with Trump?...
I didn't say nothing. The testimony is related to his charges

Edit obviously it is partly about Trump thus questions like did you do this or say this on behalf of Trump. But the main testimony hearing is about Cohen.

LOL Gotta love when Trump Fluffers use the threat of violence as a scare tactic. As if that really makes your party look good. And dont give me this" im an independent' crap. We all know what you are.

I'm an Independent......I have said in the past and I'll say it again... I don't subscribe to political parties. I live in a town in the Northeast that voted for Trump. I know these people. A lot of these people did not vote for a long time or in their lives. Like it or not, Trump inspired a lot of white middle class people to vote and be engaged in the political process. Politicians haven't been doing their job over the past 30 years.

That was what Republicans tried to do however it was about what happened, and Cohen was more credible than the Republicans themselves. In the end they came out the losers.

I thought Cohen held up pretty damm well and he didn't back down one bit, he refused to be badgered by the GOP and his message was simple, I was the fool for this man and look where that blind loyalty got me. Those asshole GOP congressmen who attacked him will wind up eating a shit sandwich when this asshole goes down.

Oh an enlightened centrist.

You're not an independent, you're a moron, and so are the clowns that got "inspired" by Trump. Ignorance ceases to be an excuse past a certain point, now do the world a favor and jump off a cliff you fucking lemming.

from the bits I've seen, I'm truly surprised at how Cohen made many of the GOP congresspeople look really, really bad.

I can't help but compare this all to the recent AG hearings with Whitaker where the role was reversed (Democrat congresspeople made Whitaker look like a fool.)

Is this my own personal bias? someone feel differently?

Meadows is a clown if he believes that Obama was born in Kenya.

Obama was born in Hawaii.

Anyway, the only people to watch in America after this hearing is middle class white people. They elected Trump. A lot of them do not care about politics, some of them did not even tune in today. It's about the economy. If the economy is not good in 2020, we will see.

Remember, Cohen is charged with crimes that Trump is directly implicated in.

Cohen didn't deny anything when he had things thrown in. He was a credible witness with documentation. I loved when one Rep asked Cohen that if Trump was a conman what did that make Cohen? Cohen replied "a fool". Well played.

So serious question - what is the point of this hearing? Like what are possible outcomes and/or repercussions from this?
Getting the truth out in the open for starters.

We have a name for those people. Ignorant. I mean they don't give a shit about politics until one of the worst human beings on the planet joins the race, and then they are gung ho voting for him. What else would you call that?

I am a centrist. I don't subscribe to either side. I lean conservative and liberal on some issues. Most Americans are like me. This is not a left-wing majority.

Yeah, I don't buy it.

Birtherism
Grab em by the pussy
BUILD THE WALL
LOCK HER UP
Muslim Ban
Mexican Rapists
on and on etc.

Is this how he "inspired" white middle class people to "be engaged in the political process."

Someone on Hillary's campaign said it early and perfectly....."I'd rather lose then win the way YOU did." I forget who said that...

Maybe Republicans and Democrats should have been focusing on job creation and representing the people, and we would not have a populist like Donald Trump rise up in the Electoral College.

You mean they "care" about the economy but know nothing about it yet think they know everything about it.
