The moon where the Senate voted to acquit Trump on the two articles of impeachment. I understand that facts like those are ignored by many because of reasons rooted in psychology. But I encourage you to continue to live in a version of reality that meshes well with your psyche. If it's important to you to feel that the current president has been impeached by all means continue to do so.

If you have a compulsive urge to give me a lecture about facts now, save the wear and tear on your knuckles.

Ok Boomer(ang)

I’m just going to give you two facts. Are you ready?

Presidents are impeached by the House and removed by the senate.

But thank you for confirming Bill Clinton was never impeached. :D

This post is extremely funny to me because you wrote all that and you don’t even know what impeachment is. Someone is impeached when the house passes articles of impeachment. Whether or not they are convicted is irrelevant as to if they are impeached.

You seem like someone who thinks they are smart and well informed, have you ever considered that you might actually be kind of stupid?

Trump wasn't impeached.
Sorry, but you might want to go research and educate yourself on impeachment. Trump was impeached. The trial in the Senate was to try him and remove him from office.. no matter how they ruled, Trump was impeached, as impeachment is done by the house.

I said what I meant and meant what I said. In the letter President Trump wrote

"It is extremely important that we promote the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of Federal programs and activities," Trump wrote. "The Inspectors General have a critical role in the achievement of these goals. As is the case with regards to other positions where I, as President, have the power of appointment, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, it is vital that I have the fullest confidence in the appointees serving as Inspectors General."

"That is no longer the case with regard to this Inspector General," Trump added."

It's his Constitutional power and prerogative to choose who represents his administration.
trumps a vindictive little cvnt, and you're his bitch

Of course Atkinson has been fired. I'm surprised it took so long. It was, after all, a perfect call. The server... they say Ukraine has it.

Yeah that Atkinson had some nerve, doing his job, standing up for voters and the Constitution. Was only a matter of time until Il Douche sought revenge for having his crimes disclosed, this was expected but I too am surprised it took this long. Guess he's been busy fucking over America's coronavirus response. It's hard work constantly blaming others for executive ignorance and ineptitude, even for a stable genius.

What do you think people don’t understand? Of course he has the ability to fire him, it’s just a further sign of his corruption that he fired the person responsible for exposing his previous corruption to the country.

It really does show how right the democrats were to impeach him though, agree?

That’s weird, you had no problem saying Clinton was impeached.

I think it is becoming clearer now. What it sounds like you are saying is that the President has enough power and authority that if his party in the Senate won’t convict him for it, he if free to abuse that power and carry out his job corruptly. He can get away with it and his toadies, the filthy immoral scum that support him can say, but look, he has that right and just because he can abuse power, it’s OK. Boy, that is just terrific. Any time I want to I could support the biggest piece of shit on the planet and say to myself, “I’m clean”. Thanks.

Pretty much. I mean Trump used pcgeek’s tax dollars to try and extort a foreign leader into helping him get re-elected and then fired the guy who had the temerity to do his job and tell the taxpayers about it. Pcgeek doesn’t seem to mind being played for a chump so I guess that’s up to him.

I agree that:

You have a strong opinion and you are entitled to it.

My opinion doesn't agree with yours.

Interesting, what is your opinion then? Should the democrats not impeach Trump for corruptly using your tax dollars or do you think Trump using your tax dollars like that is okay?

Or is your opinion yet another secret? Haha.

Lets just say you're not going to bait me into some bullshit conversation that is closed and has been beaten to death.

Trump had every right to fire this dude. Your opinion on why has nothing to do with it. If it did he would have asked you before he fired him.

But you can't just stop there. With every right comes responsibilities, to use what is your right justly. This is why our Constitution lays our certain rights as inalienable, because they function from our inner being, from a sense of justice that is based on intelligence and empathy, the ability to see cause and effect and to put oneself in the shoes of another and to feel what they would feel as a consequence of your own actions. All of these rights are dependent on the inborn sense that an empathetic human being will sense and the laws are set up to protect such sensible people from mad men. But you modern day Conservative Republicans have turned the Constitution up side down. You have put a self serving psychopath behind the protection of those laws and shielded him there. What you have done is evil incarnate. You have given power to the devil claiming the right to different opinion. You have taken the good our forefathers provided in their deep wisdom and turned it into evil. The price is your soul and you pay it because you do not really believe you have one. You have made a terrible mistake, because the soul in inalienable and the source from which truth and justice flow. Instead of heaven you bring hell to the earth without any idea of the price you pay. You are dammed and do not know it. Repent, my friend, while there is life left to do it in.

Do not say stupid things like it is his right. The minions of hell handed him that right to worship him for it and all because we believed we are worthless and wonder the earth with a vacuous hole where our souls once lit our way. Do you remember the joy of being and the hate that replaced its loss?

Father forgive me for my sins and lift this crushing burden of guilt. I have lost my way.
