I've got all the Slipknot albums. They're not metal.
What would you classify them as? Sure, they don't fit the Sabbath/Judas Priest/Iron Maiden mold...but they are hardly pop rock...some might dismiss them as nu-metal, but whatever...Corey has one of the most powerful voices in rock today, and many of the band members are quite proficient and talented musicians, as evident in most of their side projects.

Led Zeppelin's Rain Song
Good tune for sure, but the intro to Stairway is probably their best "slow" song...although also terribly cliche.

Saving some Zeppelin tunes for later in the evening when the alcohol has been flowing for a bit.

Try Apocalyptica's cover of Nothing Else Matters
Wow...these guys do symphonic covers? Their cover of "From Out of Nowhere" by Faith No More was pretty cool.
Try Thank You from Zep II

Nerf Herder - Pantera Fans In Love

I bleached my hair just like Vince Neil
Then you made me cut it like James Hetfield
We're gonna put an end to alternative rock
We'll find a way to make the Cranberries stop
We went to Sears for pictures at Christmastime
But they wouldn't let us make the metal sign
No they wouldn't let us make the metal sign
I'll bring the wine you bring the bread and cheese
It's hard to eat when you're headbanging
Makin' out in the middle of the pit
How come Slayer doesn't sing about this
If anything comes between you and me
Then heavy metal heaven, that's where we'll meet
We are Pantera fans in love
What's with these punk rock nerds, they can't even sing
I wish we'd never heard of The Offspring
A candlelit dinner, now we're holding hands
I taught you how to draw your first pentagram
We went miniature golfing but we didn't get far
Because we used the clubs to play air guitar
Oh we used the clubs to play air guitar now
I'll bring the wine you bring the bread and cheese
It's hard to eat when you're headbanging
Makin' out in the middle of the pit
How come Slayer doesn't sing about this
If anything comes between you and me
Then heavy metal heaven, that's where we'll meet
We are Pantera fans in love
We are we are Pantera fans in love
We saw Ozzy on our first date
Our special song is Crazy Train
Makin' out in the middle of the pit
How come Slayer doesn't sing about this
If anything comes between you and me
Then heavy metal heaven, that's where we'll meet
We are Metallica fans
We are Megadeth fans
We are Manowar fans in love
We are Pantera fans in love

oh man i didn't see queen on your list...

then consider queen's "you take my breathe away", "love of my life", "good old-fashioned lover boy", or even "Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together)"... is there an all-english version?

<---- queen fan

love of my life is a sad break-up song, you fool.

did you check out Without You by Vain and/or Lana Lane?

I can't find a sound clip of the Vain version, but the Lana Lane version sounded promising.

no one asked for pics of the happy couple??????
The inevitable OT stalker posting request...don't worry, I'll probably post wedding pics.

"you're my best friend" by queen.
Tempo changes a few times in the song and still a bit fluffy...also not one of my favorite Queen songs. And yes "Love of My Life" is a broken hearted song, not a love song.
