When Van Jones described obnoxious elitists and how they hurt the Party...he was looking at you. Did you even read the links?

That was written four months before the election. After the election we learned that Trumps voters were mostly white, racist, and uneducated. The working class part is a myth, Clinton had more working class support. Women were the big surprise. They were too ashamed to admit to pollsters that they were going to vote for Trump.

Hillary lost the working class vote in the Rust Belt and it cost her the election.

I did, did you? Did you not notice that they were talking about Trump voters and not the white working class in general? So you make a hilariously stupid, massive generalization, cite an editorial to back it up, and then get what the editorial said wrong. Oh and then of course the endless whining about it.

What's even funnier is that I've actually been a member of the white working class, doing a shitty job in a factory making $20 an hour. (I don't remember your work history) I'm also willing to bet I have more working class friends than you do, as almost every friend I had until I was almost 30 had a high school diploma at most and I'm still friends with most of them today. By all means though, tell me more about what an elitist I am and how humble you are. :)

You don't think he's a credible source on this issue?

I think it's comically ironic you try to look down on thinkers while proclaiming yourself good at it. Van Jones has a point in his context; too bad it that has little to do with yours.

I believe that point was specifically addressed in the 2nd article linked.

The second link is entirely repudiated by the relative wealth of the trump demo compared to actually downtrodden america. Make perfect sense why/how they want to keep it that way.

Good thing racial resentment and such are measurable and perfectly correlate with trump support, and it's not exactly hard to see why. A half-bright person might even ponder if he purposely targeted such demos using rhetoric that rather appealed to them. You know, that's what smart people do, figure things out using empirical thinking.

Anybody with half a brain could understand that what you are alleging is Trump and his team were able to use empirical thinking to understand voter motivations and use that to win an election. That's demonstrably false, as higher intellect rests with democrats of higher education hailing from blue states. Please try better logic next time to support your claim.

High school friends aside (lol), after reading thousands of your posts I know how you come across in these forums...arrogant and condescending. You can try to rationalize it away all you want...but that's who you are.

Interesting you categorize a con game as some sort of higher intellect. However, it's trivially true that Trump felt the efficacy of appealing to racial resentment provided his birther history, when many other didn't want to believe that's what murica comes down to.

They weren't high school friends, they were my adult friends who didn't have anything more than an HS diploma. That's what happens when you're enlisted. (duh) Gotta read more closely, brotha. Let's just say I think it's highly amusing that someone like yourself wants to tell someone from my background about how to relate to the working class. Hahaha.

Also, you seem to be confusing how I treat you with how I treat people in general. I mean you've earned being mocked.

He makes good movies and is a good/great director imo, not the good person imo but atleast he's got some redeeming qualities, i've yet to see any in Trump.
The Clintons saw it fit to attend his wedding reception, and the Apprentice did reasonably well. He was also hilarious whenever he was on Howard Stern. Surely he had some redeeming qualities before he decided to exploit societal anxieties to feed his ego for a Presidential run.

Just like Hillary, Streep insulted millions of Americans with her comments about football and mma. Attempting to belittle them. Really helps her cause. As if only Trump supporters enjoy these events? She also insinuated that Trump was going to deport all the foreigners in the industry, another falsehood.

It's a little ironic that someone tries to condemn someone else for being insulting and lying, when they do the same thing

As if this says something significant about you? You've got to be kidding.

I see how you treat nearly everyone on this forum who has a different opinion than you...but nice try, I really didn't expect you to be self-objective or honest about this. So I've earned being mocked. ROFL...look at you...all high and mighty. Elitist...who me? You trying to steal my shtick? lol

It's a shame she didn't throw in NASCAR along all those still clinging to their bibles and guns. Let's be honest here! Elitism is a myth I tell you! /s

Games of any sort, con games included, are won by those with the best smarts.

As to the bold. BLM? Check your privilege? That was all there for Hillary to tap into. She was too busy planning her acceptance speech and finding the largest glass ceiling in New York.

I've pointed out Trump's smarts on numerous occasion, along with why conservatives aren't as dumb as they look, and why liberals are naive to be believe so. It's not exactly intellect, just what deplorable have to do to exploit the virtue of others.
