Damn dude, that blows.
Luckily for me, if someone broke into my house, they'd probably feel sorry for me and leave me stuff. 🙁

Well, the rug really does tie the room together. :awe:

Sorry GA. I hope the insurance covers you. This reminds me...I really need to take pictures of all of my stuff for insurance purposes.

Let me get this straight. You take his stuff to win an argument and now, after pawning said stuff for party supplies, you concede? I don't get it.

j/k

If I had a chance to explore NZ, there are many prettier parts to see than could be viewed by breaking into GA's house. No offense, GA, I'm sure your house is very nice. 😉

What's wrong with Auckland if I may ask?

It's a disgusting cesspool compared with the rest of the nation. It saddens me to think that so many visitors to NZ never leave Auckland, which is barely different to any other big city in the world. There's nothing beautiful or culturally significant about Auckland, and it doesn't represent NZ as a whole.

My bro moved up there about a month ago from one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Unfortunately Auckland is the business centre of NZ, so that's where people go to get good jobs - he wouldn't have had much luck finding work as a software engineer in my city (Tauranga) or where he came from (Christchurch). Still though, more people ought to consider Wellington - big city feel but with tons of culture and beauty.

Cities are the shit though. :colbert: Living out in the middle of nowhere sucks because there are no conveniences... also no good social dancing scenes.

I live in a city - but not a big city. I would hardly call my suburb in a city of 120,000 the "middle of nowhere".

Just got home from Christmas shopping and the house has been turned over. Collectively we lost 4 laptops, some iPod Touches, XBox Kinect, a hair straightener (apparently valuable), jewelery, a fresh carton of cigarettes, couple of cell phones, some expensive cuff-links, a whole bunch of Christmas presents and who knows what else.

Motherfuckers.
That really sucks. Sorry to hear this.

none of that would matter to you as you'd be sitting inside bitching about how everyone in the city hates you. stop pretending all the fucking time.

sorry to hear that, GA. Merry Fucking Christmas, I guess.

If it's any consolation, I'm sure my Christmas is shit-tons worse right now. :\
