Merry Christmas - house got burgled.

Sucks! Our place was tossed at the beginning of the year. Stole a few goodies (PS3, Wii, digital camera, etc), but the pricks took all of my wife's jewelry that her recently deceased mother gave her.

We moved within a week into a secured condo.

I hate thieves.
 
Damn GA that really sucks. I hope they find out who did that. Like others said, sounds like it was people that probably have hit other houses and I'm sure they staked out your place for a while to know how much stuff you had and when you'd be gone for the most amount of time.
 
Check with Luke and Butch, the BUSHWHACKERS! They have some underworld connections and can get you your stuff back for a nominal fee.

I can only imagine some ATOT replies if someone whose name was "IloveJesus" and posted positively about religion all of the time got burglarized

Thieves are the lowest life form ever. They should be chained to posts and publicly humiliated/beaten. We all have hard times at one point or another in our lives, but that is no excuse for someone to take advantage of someone else in that manner.

I disagree. Vandals are the lowest form of life ever. At least with theft, something productive happens for one of the parties. Vandalism isn't beneficial to anyone.

Seriously, let's not lose perspective. Thieves and vandals are both shits, but really I would rather live among thieves/vandals than rapists and murderers. To say that thieves or vandals are the lowest form dilutes the impact of violent crime, crime against children etc.
