The fact that women require a bag of shit to carry every day for a supposed "need" is god damn laughable. I carry 4 things: My Phone, Keys, Wallet, and a money clip... and I only carry both a wallet/money clip because I like to divvy up my cards/cash to not put all my eggs in one basket. I carry different items in each.

There is nothing else of any significance that I've ever needed to carry no matter what unless I'm going to work (thus bring my briefcase w/ laptop) or going on a trip (suitecase). Either way my main point is women need to pull their head out of their ass with what they perceive to a be a "necessity". If you find 10 makeup items, chapstick, lotion, and other junk to be a "need" then you just have way too much insecurity.

as a woman, it kind of depends on whats going on.

sometimes i carry a medium "purse" (actually a nice leather man's messenger bag) because i have wallet and phone as well as aspirin, extra pens, checkbook, extra headphones, bandaids, tampons/pads, notebooks, thumbdrives, extra keys, swiss army knife etc.

if i'm just running errands, and it's that time of the month, OR im going to the mall, i take a much smaller purse to carry my keys, phone, wallet and then tampons/pads or my stack of loyalty cards. or both. this is also the purse configuration if my outfit doesn't have pockets, which is all my skirts and some of my pants.

The only pockets my wife sometimes has with work clothes is on her jacket... and really shallow ones at that. Women's clothes != men's clothes.
