I call it a purse but it's actually a pretty dope canvas wax messenger bag. It's my almost everyday EDC. Contains everything but the doggie toy that happened to be laying around. Plus during the warmer months some bug spray and a JBL Flip 4 or UE Wonderboom speaker go inside.

Contents:Journal, Small Notebook, Kindle, Fenix Flashlight, ZT Knife, Keys, Dunu 3001 Earbuds, Spare Vape, Reusable shopping bag, Eyedrops, 13,000 mAh Battery pack, 2 USB charging cables, Flashlight batteries, Vape batteries, Vape Juice & Coils, Sunglasses, Fidget spinners, Spare contacts, Pens, Grounding Kit (essential oils, pictures, worry stones) Carabiner, Rear Bike Light blinkie, Watch case.

The bag is a Misson Workshop Monty made of Waxed Canvas: https://goo.gl/uD7D2g

Damn son. Carry less shit. Leave all that crap in the car.

Wallet, phone, and keys. That's all you need and will easily fit in your pants pocket.

I used to wear Scottevest clothes that let me put lots of junk in hidden compartments.
But their clothing isnt sturdy so now I just make an effort to leave junk at home. Or if its really needed I put it in a maxpedition pouch and leave that in the car.

for a while, as in decades, it was just Wallet, Phone & Keys and then for the last few years a Vape. I'd carry a small messenger on daytrips around the city (no car just using public trans and then uber) with stuff like a phone battery pack and spare contacts. Then I needed spare vape batteries and juice so that killed the pocketability of my EDC. So I added a small bag. The little notebook became very handy to jot down notes on so then I threw that in. Then I figured why not carry a knife and flashlight. So I said fuck it and got a medium sized messenger and this way I never forget anything :) It's easy enough to carry. I carry it around maybe 4 days a week, it stays in the car with me sometimes. But for urban living, it's far more necessary than the burbs where you drive everywhere.

My gf does also. Except mine is more organized. I use compartments and small Tom Bihn bags to organize small things within small bags inside the big bag. It's genius. Nothing in my bag is girly though

Real men don't give a shit what you think about what they carry or don't carry. Stop staring at the midsections of men you don't know in public places, Jules . . . it's unsettling. :D

Honestly, you sound like a high school football coach in 1960 all upset that JKF supposedly didn't wear a hat at his inauguration . . . because only commies and "fairies" didn't wear hats back then.

Fashion goes in endless cycles, but is never static. And it ends up turning back in on itself. Nowadays you're a douche if you do wear a fedora!

So, Jules, some decades hence some Jules clone will be bitch-flapping his yap about all the guys who don't have a man bag as he scopes them out at the personal commuter rocket expo. :p

So, can we see some pics of your man-purse then?

BTW-I'll still be laughing at the dudes carrying their man purses in the Subaru exhibit just like I did last year.

If i need to carry extra stuff, I just go for a backpack.

Yup. But I'm not ever in a suit either, and suit+backpack would just look weird. Anyway, I went the other way - I have my license and credit card in my phone's wallet case... now if I could just get rid of keys.
