Of course resource hoarding involves exploitation.Oh I see. You think Megyn acquired this salary by exploiting all the little people that work for her.
Thanks for your constructive, intelligent response.
Never mind that it's widely documented that Fox serves as a mouthpiece for the Republican party, and that both Murdoch and (at least until recently) Ailes insist that their political views are manifested in every media outlet they run...
15 million dollars is obviously enough to retire on. Her demotion could have her retired at a young age should she chose to. I'm going to cry a lot of tears for her plight. This is not a career advancement, but more like a self initiated demotion. NBC has nowhere near the viewership as where she is leaving. Frankly, it doesn't matter to me, as I can't stand her.
your words were that fox demands absolute devotion to the GOP. that is 100% false. Shepard smith is a democrat and in my opinion one of the best front man in the industry. there are other democrats who are and were anchors on fox but dont let the facts get in the way of being a left loon.
When they give Smith a prime time opinion show you might have a point.This.
I think the term is Balanced.
I have no idea why someone would move from a position on top to go to a network as bad as NBC.
This.

Of course there are two sides to every story. At least. For example, in the story about Hillary's private email server there was Hillary's side, and Hillary's new side after the first one was revealed to be all lies.desire to be "balanced" is an embrace of the false notion that there are two sides to every story. In the pursuit of this inherently false notion, one must strive to invent a 2nd side in situations where none exists, in order to preserve that "balance" and perpetuate the false narrative.
This is the inherent fault of cable news and the 24-hour TV news model.

Good, good. MSNBC could use some more attractive anchors and hopefully they fire chuck todd and replace him with her.
From what I've heard she wants a daytime show.To try to swing this back on topic, any news (or speculation) whose show at MSNBC is going to be dropped to make room for this new highly paid talent? My bets are with the current 10PM or 11PM shows.

Why can't it be both? You don't honestly believe that, do you, or are you just trying to make a "funny"?
Yep. This is apparently a big thing for her in a NYT article a month or two ago- have a show where she could spend more time with her family, like dinners and seeing her kids off to school. An evening show really precluded being able to do the former. From what I've heard she wants a daytime show.

Chuck seems like a nice guy but he's not much of a hard nose reporter. He was ok as a White house news reporter but on the desk in interviews he far to timid.
