Nah, they can be kinda handy at times. I say kill all the morons who think a lawsuit is the answer to everything. :|

but but but, SHE CAN NO LONGER LOVE HER TOOTHLESS HUSBAND. Can't you all see that Mcdonald's obviously destroyed a beautiful relationship. *cough*

Now I understand people are sue happy, but what lawyer would take this case?

"Yeah, we want to sue McDonalds because their bagel was too tough."

"hey, sounds like a winning case. I'll take it!"

Morons would just be a collective group without lawyers to sue on their behalf. What we need is fewer ambulance chaser type lawyers, and lawyers with a modicum of integrity and morality.

WTF are you doing ordering a bagel from MickeyD's to begin with? I did not even know they had bagels

they get paid either way

I have a McDonalds down the road from me that gets little business... they sort of built the stores before people moved into the area (Bayside Lakes (Palm Bay), FL)... Over the last few months I have purchased some of the 'hardest' food ever... they must be heat lamping this stuff for hours. I bought my kid a Happy Meal and I swear to god that I could have shattered a window with this thing... My other prize purchase was an order of fries that were room temp and burnt...

Someone here should start a site where we can share pictures of sorry fast food purchases!

actually, in this case, the plaintiff's lawyer is almost definitely on contingency, so he only gets paid if he wins. stupid lawsuits like this in a well-functioning market will weed out bad lawyers b/c the stupid lawyers who take these types of cases generally will lose and spend a lot of their own money losing....
