The thing is, 60% of their revenue comes from Pot. It's on the backs of these sales that they are able to push all the other drugs and crimes. Pot paves the way. Take away that 60% of their revenue, it's going to impact everything. Not completely, but there would be a domino effect as their channels dry up because the customer base did. Then they have less money to pay people off, buy guns, etc.

Oh and at least in the US we arrest and deport illegals in a civilized manner.
