Finally got the rent situation sorted out. Its been a very stressful situation.

Long story short..my little sister fucked over me and older sister...if they had just dealt with the landlady in the building instead of the actual owners of the building..we wouldn't be paying an extra 400 dollars a month.

At least we have this place now and I probably be won't talking to my younger sister for a very long time.

Dumb thing to ban someone over. Why they care about someone making pointless threads in OT seems weird. Sounds like they are a bunch of power hungry forum mods.

Sometimes mods of forums get power hungry. Their forums become their kingdom and you their servants. If they dislike you for whatever reason, and you do not prostrate yourself to them, they will focus on everything you do. Its sad, but, its often what people do to fill the voids in their lives. Not much you can do when someone wants to use arbitrary power over you in that case.

its all good..after my last banning, I told them to permaban me. Whats the point of after 7 years of trying to make happy/goofy threads to lighten the mood there, only to be banned on some moderators whim. I think I left my mark there.

People are weird and interesting. They carve out this space for their view of reality, and they do some funny things trying to maintain it. Try to do anything to disrupt that and you are going to catch some heat. A good sense of humor is a good way to make sure you don't end up like one of those people. That is my opinion at least.

I pretty sure it was as I pointed out earlier a conspiracy thread he created because right after he created the thread he was banned. Conspiracy threads are one of the no-no list. Either way seems trivial to me.

At that point they were looking for a reason to ban him. He seems to have annoyed them by posting threads in OT that they felt were pointless. I thought that was what OT sections were for. I don't get closing threads in an OT section if people are enjoying it and nobody is getting hurt.

But, that crack one was super funny.
