There's no racism here. It's just coincidence that BHO is getting 95% of the black vote in NC. Nope, no chance of any irregularities. That's only from those white people.
Of course there's racism here. Blacks are grossly biased to him just as whites are biased toward HIllary. That said, I think the pro-obama bias is stronger in blacks; i.e. they are being more racist here than whites.

Doesn't change the fact that Obama is a better candidate and took the wind out of Hillary's lungs with a flurry on Feb 5. She's been sucking air since 🙂

The idea that blacks are more racist is based on the assumption that in a racism free world, both of them would get 50%. Maybe the right number for Obama is 95%, and half of white people are racist. That is hyperbole, but you get my point.
Why the hell is Hillary still in this race?

the only thing that really worries me is how vitriolic and juvenile the thread is going to be when Hill finally resigns. might finally turn me off of P&N forever. haha.
Oh come on, no it won't 😉
Oh ye Turkeys of little patience. Silly rabbits, the urban areas with the most votes always trickle in last.

Wait until at least 10 oclock before it is a lock.
It's strange. In some areas on P&N you make confident predictions and yet in these elections you don't. It's been clear to the rational person for months that Hillary's campaign was on its back leg and sailing upwind in a storm and the evidence continues to support it.

hey, Clinton 75% Obama 25% in NC with 0% reporting 😛

No! She'll come back...

Please? 🙁

she'll be back 😉

maybe not as president, but I can't believe that the Clintons won't find a way to extract revenge on the people who betrayed them.

it'll make an awesome movie... sorta like La Mariee Etait en Noir meets Election.

alright, I think we get it now 😛

Face the facts, we have been waiting for this moment for weeks as we have endless speculated about various outcomes.

Now that moment is at hand and we can't wait two damn hours until the final results come in?

The time of speculation is over, no amount of spin will now change anything, I for one will wait for the final results still at least two hours into the future.

The results are that Obama gained more delegates on Billary who can only promise all the super delegates with new cars and gas for life to capture the nomination.

In 2004, Indiana went 60/39 to Bush while North Carolina went 56/44 to Bush.

As many predicted, Indiana was close, but quite surprisingly it looks like Obama swept Clinton under the carpet in North Carolina...recent polls as early as yesterday were showing that Obama was starting to overcome the initial shock of the Wright controversy.

Both campaigns will spin today as a clear victory...Hillary will claim continued momentum...Obama can now claim that he not only went through, but survived, a fairly heated political controversy.

Delegate wise, Obama will come out of tonight with an even greater lead.

The fat lady is on the stage, the audience is seated, and the spotlight is on...

No... the question is which candidate can potentially deliver the traditionally (since Reagan) red state and which one can't.

Because there really are no such things as Red and Blue states. Bush got 55% of the popular vote in NC in 2004, while Kerry got about 45%. There's no reason why the Democratic tide this year can't bring a Dem win in that state, provided the Dems run the right candidate.

I'm not so sure this Presidential election will be simply Democrat versus Republican. I think it will be those wanting to stay in Iraq forever and those who want us out. That being the case, McCain stands little chance against anyone except Billary this fall.

I'm in a weird place.

I like Hillary... I feel a need to defend her when DB's on this forum attack her for stupid and petty reasons, especially when Obama reminds me of the guy who ran the new age shop in my college town sometimes; I thought she was a pretty good senator when I lived in NY and I think she'd make a damn fine president. but come on. I think it's over.

Moving on... Hillary's lead appears to be shrinking in IN. Now at 54/46 and still not one word out of Gary and South Bend. Don't go to bed yet, folks.
