The majority of Steam users are colourblind morons.

Thats what I was thinking. I haven't run 16 bit color since I bought my GF1 DDR and saw the difference in Unreal Tournament 1. 😛

Hey, thanks for replying everyone. Looks like the average ATOT setup demands a little more juice than that of the average Steam user.

I wasn't expecting such a landslide, since in a lot of cases users upgraded just to get a peice of the Half Life 2 pie. However there is a good of older games/mods available for play on Steam as well, which don't require beefy systems ie. TFC, orig. HL, etc.

Still, for the average Steam user - not a bad setup! Personally I wouldn't mind a 9800 over my 9600... 🙂

3.0 GHz CPU
1 GB ram
Radeon 9700 (A little behind)
Close to 1 mb/s net down

Hey, I have a 9600 pro with the crappy memory but it hasn't hampered me in winning the odd deathmatch here and there. 🙂 Runs like a champ - looking forward to something 6600/9800ish though so I can crank up the eye candy a bit.
