Guys, do you know if there's a comparison of this city demo, between Raptor Lakes, Alder Lakes and Ryzen 3Ds especially the 7000 ones?

Thanks.

edit The 7800x3D isn't out yet, since it's launching on April 6th. Hopefully someone will test.

Bit of a necro thread here.

But with there being UE5 games out, I don't see anybody using this tech demo to benchmark stuff.

So apparently Gigabyte confirmed the 4060 will be 8GB with their control center. Gross, that'll probably be a $400 card too when they can sell crap 3050 for $280.

EDIT: Crap, put it in the wrong thread

Well there's nothing really heavy on the cpu side, with unreal egnine 5, to see how it runs. I mean there are some oddball games on steam, but they are pretty stupid.

This demo however, omg, it tears hardware a new one! And I think it torments cpus more.

To show what I mean, I did a test on my 8600k+6600 on this demo. (non monetized channel)

and this is an older run I did on my 2700K+3060ti.

Both use the same settings. The run on the highly clocked 8600k is much faster, although the 3060ti is a much better card. I mean it was evident how cpu heavy it was, since the 3060ti was below 50% gpu usage at times. I mean sure, an old Sandy compared with a Coffeelake, is expected to have some serious performance delta. I have done a lot of testing. But this is some serious performance delta here that I haven't seen before. That's why I believe this is the perfect cpu benchmark. There are countless games on Unreal Engine and will be even more, so this is important.

btw I see I haven't done a test on my Alderlake 12400f. What kind of idiot I am, I don't know! xD

Try doing it with max crowd density and also switch to night as that will engage the Lumen engine more for the lighting (night time is so beautiful in that demo due to all the pretty lights!).

The 12400f+3060ti system sure carries some more punch, so higher settings will be tested too. However I want to test with low settings as well, to see the ballpark of the performance delta. I mean the low settings of that demo, is like the GTFO settings of other stuff.
