the PS4 (and Pro) have slowdowns to under 25FPS in this game
midrange cards getting 60FPS without to much sacrifice is very interesting
hopefully Xbox Scorpio is going to have a stronger CPU,
PS4 Pro runs the game at effectively 1800p upscaled to 4K, though.
it's not really 1800P, it's using the checkerboard technique, looks inferior to 4K on a 4K screen, but a lot better than 1080P upscaled, at the same time it adds some visible artifacts, I think lots of people would trade that extra res for higher framerate,
Not sure why you're wondering...Was about to post this myself! Figured it would have gone in the main Mass Effect Andromeda benchmark thread, though.
Their findings are that the 1060 holds an advantage over the 480, but neither card can reach 60 FPS at 1080p/Ultra. They both have issues sticking to 60 FPS even at high settings, so they had to turn a few settings down to medium in order to lock in 60 FPS. Definitely a demanding title -- I do wonder if there's more optimization that can be done, both on the software side and the driver side.
I guess I should have phrased it as "how much more. "Not sure why you're wondering...
I'll save you the trouble.
Yes. Tons more.

Ehhh, well...it's arguable that Mass Effect Andromeda is trying to do more than Doom in the first place.
I'll start being impressed when more games have graphs like this. Until then, your game is a terribly optimized turd. The bar has been raised, so if you want that checkmark, you have to deliver.
