Whomp whomp

Trump has lost it all, pretty much like he's always done.

Maybe he'll try to lose all Obama's gains next...

Unemployment is probably going to increase by 1-3% a week for the foreseeable future

But losses of 30+% in the markets, rapidly increasing unemployment, massive industry bailouts and thousands - tens of thousands dying are the small prices we must pay to have radical right wing judges, trillion dollar tax cuts for the rich, and locking up immigrant kids.

I love all of @SlowSpyder's old posts. Never has one man willingly eaten so much shit.

This thread will remain in my bookmarks until the CV gets me or Trump is out of office.

There was another brag thread on "the stock market is Trump's scoreboard" I wish I could find.

Kinda like Trump's inherence from his Daddy, everything would be much better off if he never left the golf course and let the actual smart people run the show.

Don’t forget abortion bans! We could’ve had more Democrats, if only they would jump on the anti-abortion & anti-woman bandwagon!!!

Recall that the market tanked right after, so looks like we are getting a bit of a headstart this year.

Trump is ruining the Obama recovery with failed trade wars, bad tax policy, and general incompetence.

I can't imagine him showing up again. He dug the holes so deep on numerous fronts that there was going to be no way he was going to climb out, even if there hadn't been a pandemic.

You're seriously going to blame Trump for the slowdown of the American economy?

AS if every other place globally isn't going through the exact same thing....

Europe is on a 2nd spike that is worse than their first.

Trump simply can't go to each state and demand that they open their stores, restaurants, bars, massage places, hair salons, gyms, (list goes on and on). This would occur regardless of whom the president was. Please don't deny this or you would have to be a special kind of stupid.

What you CAN do is shit on him for not working as diligently on the virus and advocating for PPE. Though the CDC shares some place there as well.

Except if he did work diligently to prevent the spread and advocated for universal use of PPE the states and individuals would feel much more comfortable to reopen and go outside and spend money. So yes, this economy is largely the result of Trump's lack of appropriate response to COVID.

Respectfully disagree.

Containment will have an effect on the number of cases, outbreaks, etc... but until this vaccine comes out - it is going to economically effect us. Doesn't matter if the current outbreak is 20,000 cases of 200,000 cases per day - plenty of Americans don't want to venture out into public. They only want to buy what is necessary and go home.

This can clearly be seen in Europe - they aren't having prosperous times either.

His handling of the crisis is directly responsible for the current economic and public health of the country. Dumbass may have even killed himself. We'll see.

Otherwise, he is the one who decided to use the market as his scoreboard. Not a wise choice.

Lastly, virus may have started in China, but they are kicking our ass economically.

It didn't have to go this way. This was a choice.

It does matter. It absolutely does. People are actually people, and not data on paper, spreadsheet guy.

Go out and understand the world for once, C- boy.

The economy was always going to be effected, but it's about when and how seriously...and yet, you seem to not care that 200k+ people have actually died, when all known reasonable approaches would have put our actual mortality, based on population, at somewhere around 50k or less, a this point, most likely. Going by actual first world countries with actual first rate healthcare and leadership.

But, you argue that doesn't matter anyway.

+150k deaths, explicitly and undeniably on Trump's hands "but it doesn't matter...because I will now make shit up about numbers."

Countries that have successfully contained the virus are performing much better economically than ones that have not.

Except when he encourages his death cult to not wear masks or social distance. Also, Republicans and Trump are 100% to blame for not nearly enough stimulus and for poorly executed stimulus. To sum up, fuck you.

The Democrats here (aka socialist, fascist, communist) do not tolerate different opinions. Rather than the brown shirts rounding people up, or antifa using violence, members here use the report post until republican, conservative members are driven from the community. The end result is not only an echo chamber but also group think.

Would you want to stay in a community where you are outnumbered 10 to 1, maybe even 100 to 1, and the other members were openly hostile?

Chances are no, you would not.

That is like saying millions of HIV deaths are on the hands of Ronald Reagan.

Let's be honest, if Trump were Democrat the news would be praising him for his wonder response. Obama literally killed non-combatant US citizens without due process, and democrats in this community justified it. Trump did everything in his power to help prevent covid 19, and it is never enough.

Go back to your alternative reality where the president who said he takes no responsibility for the spread of covid and actually lied about it for a month and who continues to spread disinformation (in fact he’s actually the #1 source for misinformation), has somehow done everything in his power.

Lol you cult boys are hilarious.

Well, I mean...

20 years, 40 years, 100 years from now Trump will still be blamed for covid simply because he is a republican. It is not what he did, or what he did not due, because he is not a democrat main stream media will blame trump for everything.

Obama on the other hand can murder US citizens, one of them a 17 year old young man, and Democrats will justify those murders.

Getting covid is in part a lifestyle choice and a work place hazard. How many of those deaths ignored social distancing rules, did not wear a mask, or died before we were even told to wear a mask? We have been given so much wrong (and bad) information from the WHO and CDC, yet people want to blame trump.

Cult? Let me see if I can dig up your replies to some of the Anwar al-Awlaki threads where members of this forum were justifying the murder of US citizens by obama.

Ok, seriously, Reagan and his administration bears a shit ton of blame for the scope of the AIDS epidemic. They *mocked* people who tried to take it seriously because it was a "gay" disease.

"Do you blame Reagan for HIV?" isn't the argument you seem to think it is.

Oh, this is precious. Somehow, the left is both fascist and communist in the same breath (and you also lump socialism into the same extreme pile). I would ask if you even know what those ideologies are really like but... well, it's obvious you don't.

(I'd add that the Trump government has exhibited conspicuous elements of actual fascism, such as many attempts to override checks and balances.)

We tolerate differing opinions (some here more than others). What we don't tolerate are "alternative facts." Many of the things Trump claims are demonstrably, unquestionably false -- believing in them very strongly doesn't change that they're false.
