Sure, but the voters are responsible for Trump. They need to learn that elections have consequences, insofar as hopefully they won't make that mistake again. We need to help, gently, guide them to this realization.

I agree, it's just unfortunate that people who voted Democrat are being punished all the same.

"The Dow and S&P 500, which are both in corrections, are on track for their worst December performance since the Great Depression in 1931, down 7 percent so far for the month. The S&P 500 is now down more than 4 percent for the year."

When will the boomer generation stop having an influence in elections?

Not just the boomers. I have neighbors and coworkers who voted for Trump just as a "fuck you" to the system.

But it doesn't work that way.

Don't know why the "they" are, but the powerful never pay. They have the power. They don't get fucked, they do the fucking.

Now who's get fd? Our country. Our democracy. Our values.

And if that doesn't move you, your 401k and the economy is getting screwed. That may finally snap some heads.

Yeah, with that stupid oaf Trump distracted with his not getting a wall/shutdown fight, he hasn't been focused on tanking the market.

We've managed to crawl back out if the hole and break 25000 again.

It's part & parcel of destabilizing our economy.

1yr anniversary of @SlowSpyder 's epic Trump fluff thread, how are we doing?.....

Womp womp...

Recall that the market tanked right after, so looks like we are getting a bit of a headstart this year.

Trump is ruining the Obama recovery with failed trade wars, bad tax policy, and general incompetence.

More winning.

Ballooning deficits, poor economic outcome.
SOP for GOP.

We should have learned from the Bush disaster last time.

Just building up to the next bailout for those too-big-to-fail org's. Privatize profits, socialize losses.

We're already seeing it with the tariff tax funded subsidies going to scammers and big Ag.
They're using the bailout money to buy out at a discount small family farms failing under Trump's tariffs.

Kinda like the rich (domestic and foreign) coming in after the housing crash buying up all the foreclosed properties at steep discounts.

Dow closed at 19,827.25 on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, 2017.
Dow closed at 19,173.98 today.

Whomp whomp

Trump has lost it all, pretty much like he's always done.

Maybe he'll try to lose all Obama's gains next...
