What's with the hydraulic ram on the door? Oh, and sweet looking house regardless of the cave. Wonder how it was furnished out if they didn't live there.

In case of a nuclear blast would you want your weed disintegrated, huh?!

I thought not.

Reinforced doors with hydraulics are used in some places where security needs to be assured (be it security from outside intruders, chemical security, etc). I've seen some pictures of them in some datacenters and other "important" buildings that were built old-school style. One facility in particular comes to mind. It was built underground, and was supposed to be able to be able to sustain life in case of natural disaster for some period of time... I think that the doors (that were similarly constructed) were designed for multiple purposes, in case of emergency.

<edit>

Oh, and I've seen them used in stealth-door situations, as well (classic example of a "sliding bookshelf" door).

What I never understood is that the cost involved in creating that (has to be in the 10's of thousands at the least) would be hard to recoup since they had to expect that it would not stay hidden for long.

lol, someone buys el cheapo weed. That is at least 100k of weed fully grown, and i believe it takes those plants 3 months to get full grown.

that's really cool.

not supporting drugs, but the great minds behind it.

I always like stuff like this, or Masterminds on Discovery Channel.

what kind of charges could they be charged with?

what kind of charges could they be charged with?

possession w/ intent to distribute, trafficking...maybe others

it was so large, though, that the penalties will be 10x more severe

They'll probably try and find someway to charge them with RICO, like they did Howard Marks :roll:
