Surprise, surprise. Turns out the guy is a far left extremist progressive wack job like the other mass murders.

I'm not entirely sure he is mentally ill. That's like saying the revolutionists were mentally ill. The way he sees it, the people he is targeting all have blood on their hands.

Depression is mental illness the guy states he's been severely depressed for years.

Weak...

No sense trying to turn this into a partisan thread. Corruption doesn't know left or right, and he appears to be a victim of LAPD corruption and the blue wall.

This seems like a load of melodrama to me. I see no reason to think that this case will have any long-lasting impact on the powers of law enforcement.

Just takes one incident for people to take advantage of. Look at the North Hollywood shootout. It gave police departments everywhere and excuse to waste billions of dollars on turning themselves into paramilitary organizations better armed and equipped than most government's military.

The police departments will never miss an opportunity to waste tons of money on new toys and gadgets.

Moreover, not sure where you get that he's left unless you read the highly edited version of his manifesto.

He didn't write anything about an AWB, praise for Sen. Feinstein, or anything about movies or Christopher Waltz.... whoever doctored it didn't even know his name is Christoph..

Well we know a few facts:

- He was a liberal (watches Anderson Cooper and CNN)
- Nothing else really matters after that tbh

/shrug

I hope the Republican Police force deals with him pretty quickly. We simply do not need another crazed liberal who happens to be a huge black man scaring the population because he got pissed off with capitalism and couldn't handle being fired because he couldn't do his job worth a damn.

You sound like a complete dumbass. If what he says is true, and he was fired in retaliation for reporting a fellow officer (which sounds completely plausible), how is that an indicator of his job performance? I know P&N harbors the worst of the worst idiots, but come on :colbert:

idiotic.

IF you read what he claims it sounds realistic. ALL he had was his job. he is also a person who wanted to do the right thing. When he did he was fired. it cause a chain reaction in that not only was his police job done so was his military job.

he lost everything. he fought to get it back but the police lied (big fucking shock).

pitty this guy was driven to this. I HOPE that perhaps people look into the LAPD and look into there actions. so far they have driven one man over the edge. they have shot up 2 vehicles before they knew who was in them. they are fucking lucky (and incompetent) they didn't kill someone.

I'm pretty sure this one is legit.

No pop culture references or anything, just a grim explanation of how he won't be taken and how all his targets will die.

that's the one i that keeps being shown as his.

also seems more plausible.

They're going to wait for double verification. Saying he's dead when he isn't could lead to more deaths.

I see that the LAPD is living up to the charges listed in the manifesto. Think they would be so trigger happy and nervous without a little guilt?
