I can't say I feel bad for the LAPD, I wouldn't be surprised if everything he said was true. But killing the guys daughter and her fiance was a bad move.

The more I read and hear about this event the more I'm inclined to believe that there is a strong possibility that he may have been "punished" for trying to report police abuse.

Nice work guys.

http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/201...tml?partner=rss&emc=rss&smid=tw-nytimes&_r=2&

Authorities said the U.S. Navy reservist may be driving a blue 2005 Nissan Titan pickup truck.

Los Angeles officers guarding a "target" named in the posting shot and wounded multiple people in Torrance who were in a pickup but were not involved, authorities said. The extent of their injuries was not released. It's not clear if the target is a person or a location.

The Daily Breeze in Torrance also reports (http://bit.ly/YWhBLi) that there was another police shooting nearby involving another pickup truck, but the driver wasn't hurt.

The police have shot up two cars, injuring a couple of people.

This one had two women in it. Close to the suspects description. afaik both women were injured.

Normally you look at evidence and facts, where is that this time?

Guy going crazy with a gun... has to be a leftist. Someone who where it's possible to argue self-defense of course it's a law abiding conservative because they're the only ones who obey the law. Doncha know?

Yea, it was only until recently that laws were passed that made it legal to kill a cop in your home if their presence there was unjustified. They truly are above the law.

Legal or illegal?

That made it legal.

Believe it was in Indiana. They just recently modified their castle doctrine to allow a cop to be justifiably killed if they were in your home without cause and posing a threat.

Ok thanks. was wondering if it was in CA or not. It sounded like it may have been legal but then made illegal in CA.

Oh the suited man with his hand on his head is priceless. He's probably shitting his pants at the bad press this will get.

bad press? only places i hear about this are fringe news stations. unless this hits the major news i don't see anything being done.

CNN, Fox and MSNBC are fringe stations?

the just really started to mention it. even then CNN has a PICTURE with a caption.

they are glossing over it and burying it.

ahh fox actually has a story on it. but they blame on on donner not that the police made a mistake..lol

wow i read his whole thing...that is some crazy shit. i can absolutely believe a police dept protecting its own and hanging someone out to dry.

hopefully journalists do take all of his information and run with it to bring out the truth.

The officers that shot up those trucks need to be stripped of their badges and prosecuted. There needs to be examples made.

I was just making the thread more P&N friendly, though he is a liberal.

What in the world does left and right have to do with any of this?!

It has everything to do with it, and several talking points could be made here;

This is happening in CA which has absolutely absurd gun laws, the individual wouldn't have made it 24 hours in TX or NH.-

I think they let these Wacko's out on purpose from whatever cage they were in just to gain support for current issues.
