Witch hunt! Rigged! Fake News! NO COLLUSION!!

What are all things linked to the fake and phony dossier for 100 Alex? Speaking of which has Hannity ever just called it the fake dossier? I think he always has to toss both fake and phony in.

Manafort’s plea agreement says if he continues to be helpful the special counsel will file a 5K letter, which would downgrade his eventual sentencing significantly. He has agreed to cooperate with the government on “any and all matters as to which the Government deems relevant.”

For context George Papadopoulos did not get a 5K letter. Rick Gates, Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort - all expect 5K letters.

This is all part of the case against Manafort. It has been published before, and more of the details are in the plea bargain released today: Manafort was contracted by Russia/Ukraine to lobby on behalf of Yanukovyich, to essentially pass false information to the US administration related to his opponent, via Manafort's lobbying group, in order to press Putin's interest in Ukraine.

The strategy of passing intentionally deceiving information to the US administration, in order to convince the US to work against its own best interests had already been discovered and known by the Obama administration well before Manafort was involved with Trump. So, this goes back a while, and is just part of the long history with Manafort which, by the way, was repeated quite often in the press when Trump first tapped Manafort and he suddenly became a much more public figure. Journalists doing their work informed the public of this guy's scurrilous history quite well, very early in the Trump campaign. Of course, it only works when the people that need to be informed most actually want to be informed.

But you know, all of that "informing the public" was responded to with "haha stupid cuck liberal lies! hahahaha!"

I don't know who that guy is tweeting, but if he thinks this is a "ahha gotcha Obama!" moment, then he's sorely mistaken. This is all exactly why Manafort has long been under investigation by the FBI, why Trump was falsely claiming that there was a "Deep state operation!" against him and his family, and why every journalist worth their salt was long publishing the truth about these fucking assholes.

All I know is that I don't want to hear one single Trump-supporting (or otherwise) conservative motherfucker bitch and complain about this well-documented information, that was freely available to all of them, when they could have fucking cared about it when it mattered, and somehow blame Obama or the liberals for never doing anything about it. This is simply what conservatives try to call "TDS," which is really just the things that normal humans say about Trump and the shitholes he surrounds himself with.

Vanity Fair says Cohen is talking to Mueller.

I wonder if there comes a time where Trump decides just to pardon everybody (including himself) then call it a presidency. Let Pence deal with the fallout.

I'm not sure if he's capable of doing that because that would be an (almost!) unprecedented worldwide humiliation. I think he might pardon everyone, but I don't think he'll resign after that.

I'm not even entirely sure he would leave the presidency if he loses the 2020 election. If it's otherwise I think he will go kicking and screaming.

He would of course declare victory on the way out. Maybe that's good enough.

Is that a good thing? Just my personal thought process - but collaboration between two guilty parties - in general - isn't usually good right? The idea is to always keep them separate in order to ...

1) Find flaws in their stories between eachother
2) Make them fight against eachother instead of ally and align their stories with eachother.

Story says he's talking to Mueller not Manafort. Also I'd suspect that Manafort and Cohen have two different pieces of the larger story wrt Russia and may not overlap much if at all.

Ha! Rudy sent out a tweet which ended with Manafort will tell the Government the truth and then redacted that last line. WH is saying Manafort's plea deal has nothing to do with Trump. Ha! again.

here it is:
Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s lawyer, issued a statement saying, “Once again an investigation has concluded with a plea having nothing to do with President Trump or the Trump campaign. The reason: the President did nothing wrong and Paul Manafort will tell the truth.”

But just minutes later, Giuliani issued a revised statement that conspicuously omitted the “and Paul Manafort will tell the truth” part and merely said, “The President did nothing wrong.”

So Manafort picked Pence and was responsible for conning the unindicted conspirator into choosing Pence over Christie. What are the chances this development ensnares Pence now?

Trump could decide to say "fuck it" and take his martyr show to talk radio or Fox or wherever.

He also, if faced with actual or presumed imminent personal legal jeopardy, could call for his peeps to rise up and smite his tormentors.

Or he could keep doing what he's doing, popping his head up at random times between revival rallies with his followers to tweet nonsense.

The fact that any of these seem plausible and equal is somewhat disturbing.

Highly doubt it. Pence seems genuine to a certain degree.

I don't use that to compliment him - I don't care for his christian nut-job self bringing his religion into politics - but in general he seems fairly genuine.

Either way, I mean after him it's head of the house right?

It also strikes me that the NY juror that hung the jury may have really hurt Manafort. The discussion a few weeks ago was that under NY's double jeopardy law had Manafort been convicted on all counts then pardoned the state could do nothing. As it is now Manafort was essentially never tried for those crimes yet has admitted guilt. So now a pardon accomplishes little so long as the statute of limitations on the state charges does not expire.

I wouldn’t be completely sure of this. It appears fairly likely Pence lied to the country about his knowledge of Michael Flynn. For Pence’s account to be true the FBI went and told everyone but Mike Pence that Flynn had lied to Mike Pence (and the FBI) and he only found out weeks later. Possible that the National Security Adviser lies to the VP and the FBI and nobody mentions it for weeks? Sure. Likely? Not really.

It’s not a crime to lie to the country, but it is a crime to lie to the FBI and we have no idea what, if anything Pence told them. Pence doesn’t seem to be in the crosshairs the way Trump and co. are but I wouldn’t put him in the clear right now either.

Either way, I mean after him it's head of the house right?

President Pelosi is going to make some heads explode.

Awfully cocky for the 2018 midterm sweetie 😉. It's not going to happen. Plus, I mean... even her own party realizes she is a dumb retarded old hag.

To be honest, I don't think it's going to happen. Who knows though.
