Getting bored with something after doing it repeatedly is the natural response of a healthy human mind. ---> A certain percentage of the population lacks this response. ---> WoW finds these people and ensures that they do not reproduce. ---> WoW is a boon to all humanity.

luckily, the achievements portion is a one time deal. once you do it, its recorded as done and there is no need to go back for it again. ive gotten about 1/3 of the total achievements done, and some i will never get due to time constraints. that was by far not the END of wow, and there will be new achievements added soon as well. it should have a homer style "so far..." at the end. as for the hatred for WoW players on this forum, fuck you all. i work with engineers, programmers and other professionals that manage to play, have a life outside as well as a family. sure, there are addicts that never stop playing, but there are plenty of normal people that can handle playing moderately and maintain a life off the net.

If he had fun doing it and had the means to props to him I guess. At least he's the best/first to do something.

I'd imagine that the stats for our lifes isn't anywhere near as staggering as this guys ingame stats. The /played time on that character must be astonishing.

I could not imagine doing that. I actually play the game too, but usually only once a week because I don't have enough patience to sit there for hours to complete a quest. I don't even pay attention to my achievements. Poor guy.

actually the achievements dont really relate to mobs killed, its just a stat you can see in the game. its not an end all stat, and im sure there are other hardcore addicts that havent finished the achievements yet but have well over that number of kills just from dungeon farming.

I hate how some games with achievements that are absolutely impossible to attain if someone else got it first (first to be level etc, first to blah blah). I don't play WoW (theres an imposter "Savarak" that plays... found from googling), but it still irks me when so many points are simply unattainable.

Based on what this guy did I am going to assume that he has an extreme addiction. People with extreme addictions will actually cut off sleeping, eating, perhaps bathing due to it cutting into his game time.
