Good video, although I was annoyed at the woman shouting in the back at around 40minutes saying that they made him stop talking because he was a black man lol. Maybe she should have listened about the time limit 😉

"man who scuffles with police..."

I saw the picture of his face. This was a "scuffle" in the same way that Hiroshima was "dropped a bomb."

i'm sure if i had created this thread, all responses would have been personal attacks against me. it would not have been as civilised as this one. :\ stay classy guys

Everyone knows the words that come before "but" don't really count. If you have no empathy, just come out and say so.
If he is violent, burdens society and does not contribute to society, I have no empathy for him.

For starters, you would have titled the thread something like: "MANIAC COPS CAUGHT KILLING BABIES AGAIN!"

I find this very sad and disturbing. Can't say I can relate to schizophrenia really but I've had some of my own issues, depression and anxiety, and while those are nowhere near anything like schizophrenia I have to say that this story resonates a little. I can certainly understand how someone would end up on the streets for example. And 6 cops with tasers vs 1 man with a mental problem, are you fucking kidding me? For one cops should have training to recognize schizophrenia when they see it, it's probably the most common mental illnesses one sees in street people. They should know how to deal with these people and not escalate the problem into a fight. But from the sounds of it these guys were more interested in just getting their rocks off beating a man to death.

I'm not saying the guy was easy to deal with and may even have gotten violent when confronted improperly. But again with proper training one or two officers should be all you ever need. Six officers beating this guy to death is just murder! 😡

I guess if you are crazy and attack a cop they will kill you.

He didn't attack. He resisted. There is a significant difference. There is also a difference between defensive moves and offensive moves, and it looks like he was being defensive. It also doesn't take 6 dudes beating the shit out of a guy that has already been tasered 5 times to "restrain" him. So guy was also unarmed and they knew that. It was beyond excessive force. Thankfully there were videos(more than what has been released apparently) and eye witnesses.

They also better hope their search and arrest were by the book or they will have even bigger problems. Since the Feds are now involved what is more likely is, they assumed it was him and didn't have probable cause to search him or arrest him. He was homeless and who was gonna care.

I've been watching the City Council of Fullerton's meeting and boy, its quite obvious the citizens have absolutely no faith in their representatives. About 90% of the comments are about asking the city council to "do the right thing".

This must be a pretty corrupt city when no one has any faith in their representatives. It really sucks to know that when the bad batch of cops do something like this, that you as the public have to plead for justice knowing that a coverup is expected.
