Dude, most people listen to their bodies. I'm glad you have a well defined set of morals, but others do not feel the same way. Saying 15 year olds should not be having sex is an opinion. I think some 40 year olds should not be having sex. I'm not saying for all kids in junior high - high school go out and get laid, but some people want to and so long as they do it safely and know the consequences who is to tell them no?

Anyways, the girl was clearly of childbearing age, so biologically it's not unnatural IMHO. It's not like he raped some toddler. She just happenned to sexually mature earlier. Sure he took advantage of the girl, but she enjoyed it, and definitely death penalty is way outta bounds. Maybe give the guy a year to chill out.

When I was 15, I'd already had:
-A big sex ed lesson in 5th grade(parents had to sign a waver and stuff)
-Health class in 7th grade
-Health class in 8th grade
That was just education on the subject in school.
Many states have a window in which people over/under the age of consent can legally have sex.
Here in Oregon it's three years, in other words a 18 year old and a 16 year old are legally able to have consensual sex.
Although illegal, I doubt there are TOO many cases of 19/15 that get prosecuted.
But the difference between 9 and 43 is not even remotely comparable.
At 43 he is certainly old enough to be her father, & with the ages that many people are having children (especially considering what we know about him) he could conceivably be her GRANDFATHER.

Whoo. Sex Ed. PC-approved bull$hit. Let's see, at 16 I'd already had:
- Plenty of reading material (legit books, not smut rags you pervs) before 1st grade
- Understanding on the biology of things (when you're from a family of 7 you ask questions) by 3rd grade
- A hearty laugh at the sex "education" in 5th grade
- Another round of guffaws at the 7th-grade level
- A near seizure from laughter from the "pre-highschool talk" in 8th-grade
- Detention from laughing my arse off in 9th-grade health/phys ed
- Sex (she was 17)

I've read most of the thread.
If you are 15 and have sex with your 19 year old girlfriend, you aren't being raped. I don't care what his reasons are.
That's not the point. The point is that at 15, you aren't naive to sex, in addition to what you've obviously learned from friends and whatnot, you've also received a good dosage in school. They teach you the dangers in school, which is fairly important. Fairly.
