I apologize guys, but I will not be able to participate. I had the Broncos.

It looks like I will be out of the country for a good month starting in late September and cant commit the time right now.

Ducci - That is pretty much it. You login see if they are online and invite to game. Under the league page it actually shows a list of all the players in the league and says whose online and who isn't. They don't even have to be on your friends list. Then you just click them and invite to league game. Also, it appears we could actually start playing games now even if everyone hasn't joined. If a new player joins the league will just add that game to your schedule, since its round robin style and everyone plays everyone else once its not difficult to do.


 
who wants to trade teams I've got the Chargers they are a good team but I don't like them for my 4-6 defense

if you've got the packers / patriots / giants / or cowboys and want the chargers let me know.
 
Man, after regretting my last three Madden purchases (2008/2005/2003), I was really planning on avoiding it this year. But my Chiefs are still available and I'd have a built in excuse to get slaughtered (they suck... 😛). This thread would be the only reason I might break down and buy it.

Yep, I'll take ya off purbeast. Just so you know though man, I think you can be in more than one league at a time if you wanted.

oh well if that's the case sure keep me in!

i just saw last night when i joined that other league that it has the "My league" tab and figured you could only be in one at a time.

i'll try to verify what happens, so for now, keep me in!
 
Good deal, you're still in. I think what will happen is when you join another league and you go to the my league tab you will see multiple leagues and you have the choice of entering whichever one you awnt. I hope thats teh case at least cause if its not that F'n retarded.

Alright, I got a few games in, I'm feeling comfortable with this version. I've unlearned everything from NCAA 09 and am now in full Madden mode.

Let's get this league going. Only 5 teams signed up so far is laughable.
 
Picked this up yesterday. Kinda dissapointed in it. They really screwed the Giants..they even have Strahan and Shockey on the roster..but yet released an update right away for Farve..give me a fucking break.

Um, just do a roster update (it will do it automatically if you join the league) - all the players are in the right spot.
 
Ah, i see. Didnt get that far yet. Only played a quick game. But even still, why have Strahan in the game at all. But whatever, glad the roster update takes care of it.
 
so is there some trick to getting into the league whenever i search for it it says that the league does not exist.
 
Just search by abbreviation. ATFL.

Edit: Scratch that, as of this moment it seems the EA league servers are down. I can't view the league or search for any new ones.
 
Alright guys, let's start joining the league and getting things going. We can start playing our games too. If we don't get a full league no big deal, the league adapts to us which is cool.
 
I managed to get in a few days ago, but when I went to check the "My Leagues" section today, I noticed the servers were down. Hopefully they'll be back online soon.
 
I think you should be able to mass sub 2nd string in like you can in NCAA 09... I don't like that my starters by default play the whole 1st half.

Other negatives

- I throw so many interceptions it's rediculous.
- I have only seen 1 fumble.
- The only penalty I have seen is holding.
- Fullback in particular does not want to block properly.
