<< I put a link in there for her to read. What good are you doing for other people considering getting a kewl piercing? I never hear the other side to these things when they're brought up. Kewl tattoo, yeah, do it! Don't mention how many people regret doing it later. >>
You think she isn't informed about piercings? Get a clue. She's read FAR more about piercings and aftercare then you ever will. She's talked to people that do them, and have them done. Before each of her piercings, she has carefully read everything she could find on that specific type, and recommended after care for it. To say that she is somehow misinformed or ignorant about the situation is an outright lie.
As for telling people about the other side of piercings- you're again completely wrong. "No mention ever of complications etc." That's an flat-out lie again. When people ask about piercings, any honest individual (toolgirl included) will tell somebody both the positive and negative aspects of it. Frankly, the odds of problems with most "basic" piercings is quite slim as long as one cares for it properly afterwards. Most problems with piercings are due to improper care afterwards.
As for her piercer being qualified to make a judgment on it- as I stated before, the piercer has seen thousands of piercings over the years, and has a pretty damn good idea about what could be the result of a piercing, and what isn't. Furthermore, her piercer is a woman, and said that she had something similar once, and that it was not piercing related. YOU have not felt the lump, and clearly don't know the first thing about piercings. For you to be able to say "yeah right" about it being related to the piercing is nothing more than an uninformed, unqualified, ignorant guess that you pulled out of thin air.
