i feel for the families. i don't understand it when people do something stupid.

I mentioned in one thread a friend of my daughters was raped by her step-dad from 5-11. this man is now in jail. the family has to sell off the house, the cars, everything. because this man couldn't keep his dick out of a child.

Agreed. Men who have sex with children deserve to be shot. But by sixteen my fury is largely spent, and for a sixteen year old boy having a threesome with two hot female teachers, my fury is absent.

Unfortunately you are 100% correct. That has to be horrible for the poor family. Not only does the husband find out his wife is cheating but the entire nation finds out at roughly the same time, kids seeing the story play out on the news, utter humiliation, etc... Poor bastard is going to have to leave the state I bet, I damn sure would in his situation.

I still can't find a reason to feel bad for the "victim", I would have very happily traded places with him and took the horror of this unthinkable crime personally at age 16 (well, pretty much any day after puberty) if I could have, I'm just that kind of nice guy I guess.

HOENIX — A man who slept with a 20-year-old woman when he was 14 — and didn’t learn he was a father until eight years later — is now being forced to pay child support, the Arizona Republic reports.

According to the Republic, Nick Olivas of Arizona was in high school when he slept with a woman who was six years older than him. Olivas, who said he was confused and going through a rough patch at that time of his life time, said the two went their separate ways after the encounter.

Arizona law says a child younger than 15 cannot consent to sexual relations with an adult under any circumstance. Olivas did not press charges following the encounter, mostly because he said at the time he didn’t think it was a crime.

All of it was put behind him, he thought, until two years ago he was served papers from the state demanding he pay child support. That’s when he found out he had a 6-year-old daughter, the Republic reports.

“It was a shock,” Olivas told the Republic. “I was living my life and enjoying being young. To find yout you have a 6-year-old? It’s unexplainable.”

Olivas initially ignored the request to pay support, and now owes about $15,000 in back pay. The state has begun garnishing his wages at $380 a month, including a 10 percent interest charged for missed fees.





A women rapes a 14 yr old kid. then files for child support wich she gets. they then has his wages garnished. WTF!

So prosecute the mother for sex assault with a minor. You have ALL the evidence in the world to prove it.

Arizona policy shows that even though he was raped, Olivas is not exempt from child support unless the parent seeking child support has been found guilty of sexual assault with a minor. But since Olivas never prosecuted, no court case exists.

I do believe the statues of limitations is 7 years and possibly why it took that long to file for support.

That's just disgusting. Even if he can't take her to court for the criminal charge, he should still be able to take her to court civily.
