just a little more info on the "numbers" from the guy's wife in AUST. The guy is dead b/c he killed himself and he believed the same as hurley(that bad sh!t followed him).

I can't believe how stupid these emergency alerts are. They could've picked a FAAAAR better way to implement them. I called comcast to complain becuase for some reason we got 5 in the course of an hour today.

It's a bunker of some type. "Box" and "metal thing" just seem to kinda miss the mark 😉

Maybe it'll be like Twin Peaks and we'll never actually find out squat about anything! hehe

But seriously, considering Michael Crichton I guess we'll find out something eventually. Maybe it harbors some kind of alien technology that was researched on a remote atoll in WWII or some such...

hurley was on the radio this morning and he seemed confident there would be a 2nd season and that it wouldn't truely "end"

I dont see how they can keep the show interesting for a long time. It'll end up like gilligan's island, i could see Sayid making a coconut radio.

lol, that is what one of the hosts said; "how many more secrets can there be?" ...cohost "it will be like gilligan's island and go on forever!"

hurley also said that each episode is supposed to represent, roughly, a day and half on the island...which I did not know.

did anyone catch the box factory connection?

the account told hurley he owned a box factory. way back in the beginning Locke admitted he was the regional distribution manager for a box factory.

when he told hurley he owned a box factory, that stuck with me because it sounded SOOOO familiar. it's been bugging me and now i know why. Thanks.

I bet he also owned a factory that made miniature models of factories... 😉

I too was trying to figure out where I had heard that, beside Austin Powers of course, thanks! I  this show.

Damn I hate it when they go over a month with no new episodes!
I kind of want them to go into more detail about Locke so maybe this box connection will resurface and we can learn more about him. Also we still heave to discover what the monster is. Then we have french womans backstory. Plus there is the bunker and now the numbers mystery, and the damn polar bears.

I think they can still make a lot of interesting episodes.

Several people still need their second backstory episode. Hurley, Saiyed, Walt's dad, Claire, Locke, Boone/Shannon and Sun/Jin (although they sort of had theirs already).

The bunker thing will probably be a cliffhanger before the second season.

Although I have no evidence to support this outside of what I've seen on the show, I think Boone has the sickness. I thought Locke did too, but I'm not sure now. It's also possible that Walt does too.

That is, unless it's some sort of actual sickness, like the plague or something. But I think it's more of a mental thing

looks like next week will be rerun...when will we get another new episode?
April 13. 🙁

Hint: type "tvtome lost episodeguide" in the FireFox URL bar.

omg that is such BS! when they had that crappy cliffhanger for a month back in december - january, that really pissed me off when the new ep came on in january and it sucked!

now this? last nights episode was not that great at all IMO, it was just okay. the previous one was one of my favorite episodes of LOST so far.

but waiting over a month for a new episode? i mean come on, this is crap. i dont know if i am going to stick with this show anymore.

ABC needs to stretch out 22 eps... you should've expected this. 😉 We waited 3 or 4 extra months for 24 and Alias to start the season... our reward for that is no interruptions. LOST is another story.

In the episode about Jin, anyone notice Hurley on the tv set in the background? Was that about him winning the lottery? If that wasn't him, it was a dam clone.

I noticed him on the tv too...I didn't connect it to him winning the lottery though. I bet you're right!

Yes that was a little easter egg they threw into that episode with Hurley on the tv. He was on tv because he won the lottery (as we have come to find out).

I was thinking the box company thing might be another easter egg, but if they play it out to have Locke and Hurley somehow cross paths, it would be more interesting and certainly another avenue the writers could explore... if they want this show to go on... there's only a handful of eps left for this particular season.

*SPOILER*

I know in the season finale, Claire will have her baby...

so now that we know that Hurley is a millionaire, he can actually pay Walt those thousands of dollars he lost playing backgammon, right?

that reminds me, someone in a previous thread mentioned that... he was rich enough to wager that much with Walt. Someone else has been reading spoilers. 😉

The month long vacation every 4 episodes is killing this show. Why can't they just roll them all out in order.

What was the deal with the radio tower? Its on the island and was broadcasting the numbers and then crazy french chick changed the message? Is that right?

Another interesting episode giving hints to the fact that every character on the plane is connected in some way.

My theory is that they're all dead, they're in some kind of purgatory/afterlife and Locke is God.

JJ Abrams said they were not dead... and the "secret" to all this really could happen.

😕 A writer on the show?

Well, guess that kills that theory 😀

by the way, the numbers ARE NOT 3, 7, 20, 23, 45... yep i didnt hear those over static one day 😕
