Thanks for everybody setting me straight when it comes to Sayid. I've been under the wrong impression for the last two seasons that he was Israeli and could have sworn it was a show conspiracy. I hate when shows change a character in the middle of a story and that's what I thought the producers had done. Anyway, thanks for setting me straight. 🙂

meh...he stalked his father and blew up the first hatch 😛

Episode was decent...can't call it great (except for the conv. between Sayeed and the lady he tortured). This would have been an average episode in Season 1 or 2. It's just that after dishing out one really crappy and one mostly pointless episode we found this more interesting out of sheer relief 😛

John goes from being really smart and wise to being really dumb and naive. It's like Abrams flips a coin every episode to decide if John's gonna suck or be the hero.

It's not necessarily a bad thing, since everybody else has a pretty flat personality in comparison...we know that Sayid will know everything and be bad ass, that Jack'll try to save the day and still get caught somehow, etc.

Keeps us on our toes, I guess 😛

I don't think Sayid recognized the cat. I think he was just thinking it looks familiar. If he actually recognized it, he would have asked where they got it.

It wasn't the ACTUAL cat. At least I don't think so but then again this is LOST. LOL

It was about the story that included the cat.

The lady that he burned rescued a cat that had been tortured with firecrackers. She saved it and took care of it. She 'let Sayid go' after he admitted to and apologized for torturing and burning her.

Not to mention, Sayid paused when he noticed the cat upon entering the property tonight (setting up a back story). And after the explosion, the cat was staring at him as he was leaving and he left it behind.

But then, this could be the only thing mentioned about a cat and I'll just sound like a crazy woman in about a month because nobody will remember the cat. I'm not even a cat person. LOL

But you will still be watching it next week at 10pm, don't even lie.

The patch eye guy was the main bad guy on the old movie Toy Soldiers that I used to love haha. I think that's the only other thing I've seen him in.

Cliff notes, my words:
The backstory showed why Syid let eye patch guy live. Eye patch man lived because he lived when he was captured in the flashback. Not much to look into. The cat was symbolic of eye-patch guy. I guess in his mind he "saved" eye patch guy ?!?!?!

Bah ... forget it. I hate Lost. Getting sick of it. No matter whath te big event is at the end of this season, I will nto be looking forward to the next season.
