Yeah I noticed that, but closed captions are not done in-house a lot of the time, so maybe it isn't right.

Also, you can listen here. Tell me the last 2 seconds of the radio doesn't sound like Boone...
Click

You know, that sounds a lot of Michael Vartan (Vaughn from Alias). Wouldn't surprise me since both shows are by JJ Abrams.

Thanks for the link.

How could anyone say "there were no survivors..." UNLESS they found the wreckage? But, they didn't find the wreckage on the island where everyone is, perhaps they found a different wreckage they mistakened for Flight 815?

Everyone I told you way back when about my alien theory and more and more its proving to be correct. They will cross over into another dimension...OR they already have crossed over unknowingly and they will be crossing back.

Can't say that I've read you say that before...but while we're at it, I'll suggest that it's some twisted Lord of the Flies thing. ;)

I don't care, I guess, I'm just enjoying the season so far, one of the most entertaining series in a long time.

You are not alone. There are many on The fuselage who share the same theory. It's about the only answer left that Abrams didn't shoot down.

AHA! I see an ALIENWARE ad on that page = proof positive! ;)

Let me see if I can find my earlier comments, ah yes here they are:
***SPOILERS???***

I read in a blog somewhere that one of the cast members revealed "Lost" is all about UFOs and that the island itself is the site of a crashed UFO. The UFO crashed there around the same time the one in Roswell did (late 40s/early 50s) and a US naval vessel saw the craft coming down and sent a team to explore. The "box" that Locke and Boone are working is actually part of the team's bunker/ship/crashed aircraft. The "black rock" is a gateway that the E.T.s installed for the sole purpose of teleporting to/from Earth and their home ship/planet. The "sickness" is some sort of "magic" the ETs released on the island after some in the naval team accidentally teleported through the rock...they were hoping everyone would die or go insane and people would forget about the island. What the ETs didn't know is that the magic had other effects on people as well...

Basically next season of "Lost" will deal with people from plane crash going to the other side of the rock...

Just for those ignats out there....
John Locke was a famous political philosopher who believed in "the state of nature" as being the ideal place for human existance.

cool episode!

one question i have... what is the problem with lockes legs? i understand that he was paralyzed waist down prior to the crash, but after the crash he regained use. did he regain feeling at that point? because the part in this episode where he burns himself he realizes he is not feeling any pain, and shortly thereafter they start to give out on him. are they giving out because he has injured them badly (shrapnel, fire, etc.) while not noticing (due to lack of pain), or is his paralysis coming back?

i was hoping they were goign to explain his paralysis... i kept expecting him to get run over or something during his background story

is there someone in the bunker? or lights on a timer or something (underground marijuana greenhouse? :p). i agree that the presence of drugs on the island again could cause problems...

looking forward to wed!
