I'm pretty sure that it was actually his dad. The PI was the person that picked him up (his mother told him that he didn't have a father) and he was a match to give his father a kidney.

Pretty good except for the whole kidney thing. Anyone else would have filed a huge lawsuit over something like that.
I'm sure they'll keep milking the whole glowing window thing for at least a few more shows.

Damn wonder what we will find in the big metal capsule. I bet they finally open it and it will be the season ending cliff hanger ?

First the flyer, now the aisles. You're GOOD.

BTW, aisles in the store Locked worked at. Someone was looking for something and Locke said one kind is in aisle 8 and the other kind in aisle 15.

Nothing about boone on the radio yet? Spoilers are coming, so skip this if the episode is sitting unwatched on your Tivo.

It was very hard to make out what the person on the other end was saying. On another forum I read, there's a huge Lost thread every week. Someone said the closed caption read "There were no survivors from Oceanic Flight 815..." right before the plane crashed through the trees. This was in response to Boone saying that they were the survivors from the crash.

Someone also posted that J.J. Abrams has said this seasons cliffhanger ending will be the "Who shot JR of Lost" - IE: it's going to be huge. My guess is it's either the hatch is opened with people going in to see what's contained, something about Claire's baby, or someone dies and we don't know who.

As I mentioned before, this show confuses me a lot. I personally think all these people died when the plane crashed, they just dont know it yet.

JJ Abrams has denied several of the popular "theorys" about the show apparently, one of which was the "purgatory" theory. He could be denying things to keep the show fresh though - If what I posted about the radio conversation above is true, I could see everyone being dead.

I'm going to check it on my Tivo later today.

Wow, well done. Right you are.

What aisles?

In the flashback when Locke's mom asks where the footballs are, he says something like "Regulation: aisle 8, Nerf: aisle 15"

I don't think so. Tons of movie scripts have been written since the Sixth Sense came out that have people dead that don't know it. It's become such a cliche idea that I don't think JJ Abrams would do it. He's too original for that.

While I agree with this, I don't know how you can explain all the coincidences that are passing for "easter eggs". It seems to be conceived from their own minds... not something that is actually happening. Abrams better throw us a nice curveball. This is getting beyond clever television... we want answers. ;)

I caught part of this last night. It comes off like a soap opera crossed with the X-Files. Very odd show.

BTW, what was with that radio working? How old was that plane? No way that radio would work! :p

I can see it now, the hatch opening, the light coming out... zoom in and bam! the end.
Then next season, it will show him waking up and realizing it was just a dream (that he was opening the hatch).

First off, this show is friggin' grrreat.

Second, I'm torn as to whether I want to know any answers. I'm thinking that if they want to keep the show on for a few seasons, it wouldn't work if they told us everything now. But then again, I'm kinda like a kid at X-mas . . . I want the goodies now.

Ok I love this damn show.

Yes the closed captions on the radio did say "There were no survivors of flight 815"
But I re-watched that part 5 times...I SWEAR to god the voice on the other end is Boone.
And to me it sounds like "WE'RE the survivors of flight 815"

Hrrm?

Boone! Boone, get out! Hello. Hello. Anybody out there? Mayday, mayday. Boone, there's no time. Get out now! Man on radio: is someone there? Hello! Hello! [ Radio static ] can you hear me? Repeat your transmission, please. Hello, we're survivors of the crash of oceanic flight 815.

Boone, get out! Please copy. Hello... Get out now! There were no survivors of oceanic flight 815. Ahh! Ahh!
The part in bold came from the responding voice over the radio, not from Boone.

Yeah I noticed that, but closed captions are not done in-house a lot of the time, so maybe it isn't right.

Also, you can listen here. Tell me the last 2 seconds of the radio doesn't sound like Boone...

Just because they aren't done in-house, doesn't mean they don't have quality control over them.

Interesting to say the least, though.

Yeah but it seems like they went thru enough trouble for us not to hear it perfectly, with Locke yelling, plane nosies and static, to just give us exactly what it said on CC. Hrrrm. You'd think the CC would just be "Word and static" or "Flight 815 (static)" or something
