Yeah that's not how we roll in the UK

1) people would die
2) you can't arrest people for standing up
3) innocent people would get injured
4) police arent allowed rubber bullet guns here after someone did die from getting shot with one
5) the public don't want the police being trained with guns, there were so many complains after loads of police officers were trained with firearms and some armed.
6) police arnt allowed tasers AFAIK so they won't be allowed rubber bullet guns any time soon

Not true, the police were actually equipped with baton rounds for the last two nights, but will only use them as a last resort. Apparently they've never been used on the mainland before, only in Northern Ireland.

Tasers are not standard issue, but they are still used quite frequently.

People are rioting now just for the sake of burning property, and stealing as much stuff as they possibly can. The riots have no political, or moral motivation. It's just people going with the mob mentality and laying waste to the countryside because they can get away with it. People make me sick.

Sorry you guys have no way to deal with this. Use force? Shoot them, kill them? Any difference then between that, Libya or Syria? Of course there is. These folks are simply rioting for the sake of hurting others. It's violence and crime, just on a larger scale than usual.

I remember reading similar things from Gaddhaffi and Mubarak supporters about their situations.

Well, it's going to come down to how much of a fight the rioters want.

I'll give them credit for being smart and so it'll come down to risk VS reward. Right now there is very little risk. Start applying force and pressure, and perhaps many of them will scurry back to their holes without the need to get ugly.

In the Middle East the rioters were facing firing squads and still trying to show up. If they did break up they were hunted down and targeted for execution, gulag, etc. It was a far different story than this is ever going to be. Their governments were simply killing people. The rioters in the UK don't face those circumstances. They can go home, and I think they will when they're given a reason to.
