They're both good. Just get which one feels better to you(try them in bestbuy).

Make a POLL! :)

Microsoft. Logitech feels extremely unnatural to me. Especially with that thing sticking out of its side.

By the way, why don't you just go to any store in your town and TOUCH them, see which one feels better for you?

Having used a number of mice from both MS and Logitech I can say that Logitech mice are more durable while MS mice are more feature rich. I have a tendency to abuse my mice. When I get mad at a game the mouse is usually the closest thing to my hand. I have really beat the @#$% out of one of my Logitech trackballs and it does not even have a scratch in it (I remember at least once throwing it across the room). Anytime I even mildly hit my MS Intelli-Mouse Optical it pops apart. I have a collection of pieces that have broken out of that mouse (which I must sadly report died last week).

The problem with Logitech mice is, they don't have enough buttons and some are pretty poorly designed. I need at least 4 buttons on my mouse and most of the Logitechs don't have that. My MS Optical has 5 buttons. Overall I would pick the MS mice. I need the features. (plus they have a good warranty).

Thats why you buy a Logitech Mouseman, 4 buttons, and the thumb button is in the right place not in some place you can hardly use it like on the Microsoft mouse. Also on the microsoft mouse the thumb button only works when you release it while on the logitech mouse it works when you press it, that is why I cant use a microsoft mouse because I use the thumb button to jump in any 3d shoot everything in sight up game.

Hehe my favourite thread is back "Logitech or Microsoft Optical Mouse?" simple go Logitech the reliabilty is much better with Logitech,I`ve never had a Logitech mouse go bad yet .

The new Logitech Dual Optical is exellent but if you want something cheaper the Logitech Optical Mouseman Wheel is good(it`s all blue) ,I believe Logitech have stopped making them but you can still find them in some stores.

to me, warranties are absolutely pointless. If I break a mouse, which I haven't, and I constantly drop mine, I want to have another one right away, not send it off to be replaced, and after weeks get another. I want to be able to use my computer between that time, so you either have to buy a 2nd mouse, which isn't that great, or you can stick with a more sturdy mouse, which is definitely logitech.

By the time you pack and ship the thing, buying a new mouse isn't much more expensive. I've used one MS mouse, had problems with it, and put a lot of systems together with logitech, they are all fine. Even the ones in heavy industry which aren't treated kindly. Gaming wise, never used either of them, but gaming tends to be rougher on your parts, so I'd take logitech, MS's mouse looks.... awkard.

I've got Microsoft's optical mouse... had it for 2 years, no problems what so ever, and it always works like it's supposed to, most of all it's very comfortable.

logitech make far better mice than MS could ever dream of...or copy.

esp. ergonomically...ms mice are clumsy feeling.

Does Logitech make a mouse that's appreciably better than this one at this price point? I tried the blue one at BestBuy and it doesn't suit my hand, but that's a personal preference. Not certain if they use a higher grade of plastic, higher resolution optical pickup or better drivers, but I'll stick with this $15.00 puppy as the most bang for my buck:...unless there's a significant reason to go with Logitech's $15.00 version.
