Wish Microsoft has the same program. Had at least 2 intellimouse produce annoying issues like not clicking when I'm left-clicking or not moving when I'm moving the mouse.

See guys, they are requiring items to be sent in now. Thanks.

Good! that's the way it should be. Cuts down on the scams. I have an old set of logitech speakers - Z4400 I believe. I bought it years ago and it is definitely out of warranty. I love these speakers but my bass cuts out every now and then and I'd have to fiddle with the control module's bass setting to get it working again. I wont get a replacement, but I wonder if they will be willing to fix the control module for free...

I contacted logitech about my G5 dying randomly and they said they would replace it with a G500, but said I'd have to send my old mouse back. I told them this was my only mouse and I wanted them to send a new mouse first, then I could send the old one back. The guy said yes, but it remains to be seen if they sent a new one or not. I have'nt gotten a tracking number for the new mouse or a package yet, just a prepaid shipping label for the old mouse. guess I'll wait a few days to see.

I had a similar problem and they replaced my G5 with a G500 as well, but I didn't have to send the G5 back. In fact I had another problem with a VX nano a year ago, and they didn't require me to send it back.

I also sent receipts showing my purchase both times.

FWIW, I don't typically have much luck with logitech mice the first time around, but they're always rock solid once they get replaced.

Edit: This was a week ago that they sent the replacement.

They replaced my malfunctioning G5 with a brand new one and didn't even want me to ship back the broken one.

They did the exact same for me and my G5 was like 3-4 years old....

Also, I had a 600 model of their remote controls that went bad. I was out of warranty so they wouldn't replace it...BUT they did give me 50% off any other remote I wanted. So I bumped up to a $400 model with a touch-screen for $200.

I'm happy.

They also replaced my VX Nano free of charge. I didn't even have to send the busted one back.

I've had good experiences with Logitech as well. My mx510 crapped out after only about a year and a half of usage about 5 years ago and they sent me a new mx518 to replace it with and didn't ask me to send the mx510 back. Will keep buying from them, now I use a G9 and like it a lot.

i've never had a logitec product break, but it's good to know they take care of customers.

this. i've had my g11 and g5 since it was first released... still works 100% fine despite cookie crumbs, soda spills, and moving around

They make mediocre products but take darn fine care of their customers.
Razer is the opposite. Good thing I never need support from them.

My trackman wheel just went bad(intermittent connection loss where the wire exits the mouse) and after contacting support. I sent them a screenshot of the invoice showing where I bought it from newegg 2 1/2 years ago and they are sending me a new one.

Bought a VX Revolution, and after a few months the receiver stopped working. Called them up and got a rep in about 5 minutes, sent in the old and received a new one within about a week of them getting mine. By this point I had a second VX, and it started randomly double clicking. I called them up for that one, and they shipped me out a fresh one, no questions asked.

Shame I don't like their keyboards. But Logitech mice are all I will buy from now on.

My Dinovo notebook keyboard suddenly developed a problem where several keys did not function. They sent me a label, I shipped it, and they shipped me a K800. :thumbsup;

Logitech sent me a G500 to replace my G5 just because the mouse feet were wearing off. I did have to send the old one back first and use a backup mouse for a few weeks though.

Now the feet are wearing off the G500, I'm either going to buy a different brand of mouse or start stocking up on 3rd party mouse feet.

The hell? Are you using sandpaper for a mousepad?

Not sure how you can wear them off so easily.

the USB port on my Harmony remote broke off the PCB so I can't program it anymore.
They offered me 50% off any repalcement remote (though I am going to try to get 50% of a KB/mouse combo).

I too need some replacement feet for my mouse. Completely worn down. DO 3rd parties make them? I doubt Logitech is going to replace the mouse for me...

/really..../thread

ps
How the hell did you break the USB jack off your remote? Had my original Harmony 880 for two years. Programmed it about 5-6 times due to gear changes. Unless you're inserting the USB cable with Extreme Anger and Steroid Strength enabled, the USB jack is solid...like on any other USB enabled device. Unless you got the 1 bad one out 2,000000000 units. My original 880 "died" b/c I used it so much that the Volume and Channel rockers didn't register anymore no matter how hard you pressed them.

Bought another brand new 880 two months ago. Still in love. It is replacing five remotes, currently. Even my mother in law can use it. Heeelloooo? My freakin' mother in law can use it!!!111!!!

My wife dropped the 670 that we use to use in the bedroom and it landed on hardwood on the tip of the remote (right at the usb connection). You could hear the piece reattling around inside of it. It still worked for well over a year although it obviously couldn't be updated. Finally died so we're just using the tivo remote in there.

The 880 in the living room has been dropped at least 20 times by the kids and maybe once or twice by me but it's still going strong.

Well, yeah, dropping is bad for any electronic part. My 1 year old son LOVES the display on the 880. It's like visual crack. Of course the 880 is 100% off limits and he can never even put a finger on it. Which makes it visual Heroin. He will crawl across food, water and me or his mom to attempt to FINALLY grasp it. He's always been denied that achievment up to now. Which of course means that someday soon I'm sure my 880 will be smashed into a zillion pieces...and half of them eaten by him in a fit of "Who's the baby NOW, huh?"

Ah. Now I see what happened, Homerboy. The fix action is simple. New wife that's not so dropsie-prone as the old wife. :D

it dawned on me this morning that my damaged headset (only 1 side working since last week) I bought as a "dented box" on their website for $15 may be under warranty so I call up and they say it is warrantied for 2 years... so they tried to get me out another one but it's out of stock... so they happily looked for a suitable replacement and got me the G330 gaming headset which is usually 1 year warranty and they're extending it to 2. Plus it'll be brand new.

Logitech is so awesome.

BTW, their dented box items came in packages that were nearly perfect anyway... go save a bundle... http://www.logitech.com/en-us/promotional-items (they had a lot more items last time I checked though)

Everglide ricochet, really old version.

The G5** mouses have a weird asymmetrical 3 mouse foot design, the weight of my hand naturally tilts it to the right and the less supported corners of the mouse feet wear through.
