And most estimates put the strength of a Silverback at 8-15 times that of strong man, not 2-3.

Oh yeah don't sweat it Prime, you've gotten a lot of great info, there is far more bias against the lion then the tiger, a lot of it is false or exaggerated, I was neutral in the beginning, Ive always liked the Siberian tiger the most, but I apreciate the lion far more now and side with it in a fight. I also came on to these forums for research purposes for a project, I needed to know the differences between the lion and tiger anatomy wise, and even who would win in a fight, most artist have to know animal and human anatomy inside out, you never know enough.

Disney had animals brought right into the studio, so the animators could get right up close and personal with them. Part of becoming a great artist is mastering human and animal anatomy not just one but both. You have to know the real thing before you can create fantasy. Frazetta is one of the best fantasy artist who draws cats, he actually went to the zoo many times to study the cats from life.

After I was studying this stuff I got into some of the debates and I couldn't believe the utter bias against the lion was out of control, people just hating the cat acting like its the worst thing on four legs, well it all couldn't be further from the truth. Its actually the most unique cat species out there. So a lot of the things Ive learned are for research yes, but I'm happy to defend an amazing animal that is getting trashed all over the internet and even by biologist.

Leofwin doesn't post that much I showed his recent post proving the Lion has more endurance the tiger, but he does come on now and again with new studies, Bold is posting a lot on Animal vs Animal, hes mostly in to the weights and measurements, I haven't' seen anything on accounts at the moment. Bold recently posted a 280kg wild lion on a full stomach, tiger fans went nuts. Asad, Jcci, has great pics uploaded, and a lot of the other guys Kingcats, Kaos, Jinen, are going strong. Lionclaws haven't seen him for awhile, but he like Leofwin is one of the most intelligent posters on the forums, both these guys originally supported the tiger but changed later. My self, Kingofcats, Kaos, Catlion all changed and sided with the lion as well. Even Bold used to think tiger was tougher when he was a kid, like my self, its just the bias out there.

Dave Hoover has some of the most compelling quotes, he had all bengals, yet his lions were mixed, and he used an even amount of lions and tigers in the shows, he said the tiger trainer will say the tiger is tougher, the lion trainer will say the lion, he went on to say he handled both and most certainly the lion is the tougher cat.

And yes I bet people a lot, its the only way to get them to stop playing games. I always bet tiger fans that I can post more tigers running from lions then lions running from tigers, back to opponent style running. So far not one has taken me up on the bet, and most of them don't even answer back, because they've seen the clips, they know the tiger runs more, so they just respond with some character assassination or something, completely off the point. Yeah man, thats cool that your an art major...I'm a landscaper...practicly no affiliation with the subject lol I am understanding that the best artist need to study the live specimen, not just copying anothers painting.

I did post a bit more artifacts on T'A...theres like 70 all together, it was so much that T'A couldent load all the pictures lol. Its quite hard to place them in which oragin or district or country, because it could be either way. It could be the place where they seen the event or where it was developed or it could be the nationality of the artist, it dosent matter really I could choose either or, theres no law against what already is. I could tell you how to find the tons more of accounts an artifacts, its quite easy, but I want the glory of being the first to presenting them to you bold an leofwin XD XD XD because I seen a search engine with my old com that broke down that allowed for multi tasking almost like an omnipotant search an destroy God. lol I know you can find them if you were aware of this method an have the determination...but again everyone is kinda very good at what they present in finding or dwelling in there own catagorie.

At this point I dont really care of who people favor, I like both almost equal an its always been that way. I just got pissed off at viewing jackjacks site...I never knew a person could be that pathetic.
