Remember fruit loops. The little rings on the back of shirts?

Was it a big thing in your H/S to "collect" them by ripping them off of peoples shirts?

Remember Madras?

Fizzes?

Ad your memories, if you HAVE any that is. ;)

OMG the 70's so ruled!!!

I was a kid but I do remember a lot of stuff from back then.

A new rock band was all the rage and my friend even had a poster of them (KISS).

And of course the ubiquitous Farrah Fawcett poster. ;)

All the cool TV shows: Good Times, Sanford and Son, Barney Miller, Night Stalker, etc....

And the horrible primetime Soaps. :disgust:

I remeber my KISS albums.

Also remember saying "There is no way in hell we will dress like that when we are teenagers", then the wonderful 80's arrived, and straight leg pants were in and tight Jordache jeans for the girls :)

I remember when the TransAm first came out, cooool. Since I have many older siblings I have more 70s pop lyrics floating around in head than aught to be allowed by law. So just to bother your brain for the rest of this slow day...

Hot child in the city, standin' 'round and looking pretty....

Fox on the run, everybody come and hide away....

Sigmund & The Sea Monsters
Land of the Lost
The Bugaloos

The Bay City Rollers

From the Land of Sky Blue Waters (Waters),
From the land of pines, lofty balsam,
Comes the beer refreshing,
Hamm's the Beer Refreshing.

Anyone remember a toy called (I think) *Clackers*? Two round, balls, probably made out of a porcelain like material, attached with a small rope, on each ball. (Don't get cute now;) ) The rope was probably about a foot long, with a small handle at the end. That toy was one of thee most dangerous toys. People would hurt themselves all the time.

Yes, I remember them as CLick-Clacks. My older sister had them. She was like a twisted martial artist the way she could attack with those suckers!

Jaqueline Smith made my sticker peck out.
Jaqueline Smith was >*

Remember those stupid boats that you put on your feet for sliding downhill in the snow?
What were they called? They were Ronco and they were hard red plastic.

I remember when skateboards became mainstream, too. :)
